Should the dumpee ever break no contact?

They say the dumper will contact once the dumpee moves on and kinda forgets.

It's not true that the dumper will contact the dumpee. This only rarely happens.

In either case, the dumpee should NEVER contact the person who dumped them. They should just get on with their lives.

The two worst things the dumpee can do are plead/beg to be taken back, and demand to know WHY they were dumped (quickly followed by the BUT I CAN CHANGE THAT).

That's just sad.

I say NEVER contact someone after they dump you for any reason, but that's me. All contact does is give false hope, boosts the dumpers' ego, and tells the dumper that they can still have you whenever they want. Screw that. I say move on, totally.

Its up to you. I was a dumpee and did not make conact and my ex, 5 weeks after breaking up with me he contacted me to catch up... I think that they always do end up contacting you...even if its a year or more.

Don't worry about what you should or shouldn't do. Do it if you want but make sure you don't expect anything from doing so. Why are you contacting her? If it's too be friends and your feelings for her have gone then sure why not. But if your doing so for other reasons then be carefull as your own feelings could get hurt again and their is just no point in going through it all over.

No. what would be the point? just move on
