Well it's obvious a separation is a tough patch. Not one that gives good times to anybody and especially not when there are kids involved. Now I would say since it's October and the most important family time in the year is yet to come. I want to delay it until after the holidays. Basically to limit the shock on the kids for they would enjoy Christmas with the family and not with separated parents this year. Giving them more time before another big family event. Would you say it's a better idea to do it now or to do it in January?
