He left me alone after dark. Does he care at all about me?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 months now. I don't have any feelings for him at all, but I don't want to be used either.

And some things make me wonder if he actually cares about me.

Let me start with the fact that he is a momma's boy.

Once we left a club at 11 PM and we were walking downtown. We don't live in the same neighbourhood, but mine is very dangerous. When we reached the central square, he told me: "Sweetheart, I won't be able to walk you to your house, BECAUSE I'M GOING TO BE LATE AND MY PARENTS WILL TELL ME OFF.'"

I was too surprised to reply. I finally ended up walking on my own at 11.30 PM, and I was lucky enough not to get attacked by rapists or robbers (which is quite likely).

This has happened 3 times so far, the last time was a month ago.

What shall I do? Shall I dump him? I mean, I really don't have feelings for him so I won't suffer or anything...

The paradoxal thing is that he's being TOO romantic.

sounds ass backwards in what your saying, you say you have no feelings but you want him there to walk you home and be there, are you afraid to show feeling for him? and if you don't care why does it matter to you if he really cares about you. I think your afriad to show your true feelings for him, I don't think you should be with him if he is only going to be there to protect you in your bad neighborhood. sounds like you are using him for quite a few things. how can you be with someone and have NO feelings at all? cold hearted bitch is what I think, tell me if you think different, maybe shave some ice off your heart too?

For comparison: when a girl leaves my house, whether I have feelings for her or not, I stand outside watching and wait for her to get in her car and drive off before I take my hand away from my holstered glock and go back inside. Middle of the night or broad daylight, she is under my protection until I am satisfied that she is safely on her way.

It sounds like you don't care for him at all, I can't blame you, he sounds like an asshole. He's seems like he's just going out with you because he's bored.

I find his refusal to walk me to my house completely impolite.

I don't expect feelings but respect.

Oh I see. Well, how old are you both? If he's more worried about his parents yelling at him more than your safety, that's messed up and you should definitely talk to him about it.

Oh. Well I still think you should talk to him about it. I mean when my boyfriend and I go places or do things together, he always makes sure I get home safe. He won't leave until he sees me get in my car or walk through the door at my house. So I think you should just tell him how you feel and that it bothers you.

eh. Well you too have to be attracted to each other to hook up? Am I wrong? or do people just date people for the fun of dating these days? And at my school people only use sweetheart/honey/baby etc. to show they care... but hey I just dropped my 2 cents. My answer to your question is to just dump him if you have no feelings for him by 2 months.. You don't just walk around and act for two months..? Lol I guess the meaning of love and relationships changed.
