Was texting him "good morning sunshine" a bad move?

I have been talking to this guy for about a month now. He came off pretty strong because he was very persistent. I told him that it kinda creeped me out. He asked me to text him when I was free so he wouldn't come off strong again. I don't like texting guys so I hinted that he wouldn't come off strong again in order for him to text me. I Haven't heard from him in 2 days & this morning I texted him "good morning sunshine" in order to let him know I'm free tonight. He hasn't texted me back. Did a make a bad move? does this guy think that I'm desperate or that he has me in the palm of his hand now? please help!

didnt you ask this last night? lol like I said you don't look desperate. and don't start freaking out over it he could be busy, sleeping still etc.. give em like a day to text you back then try again the next day if he doesn't text you after that then its best to not take any action until you hear something or just move on

Depends on how he feels about you. If he wants to hang out with you he'll try to make time but its a busy time of year for students so he might actually be busy. best move is to not push him
