So we had one date where we went for dinner and then bar/lounge hopping. We took it easy when we got to the first bar, mingled a bit and chatted. Then we started dancing and I put my forehead against her head and teased her a bit, faking the kiss. After some teasing, we actually made out and when it was time to leave, she offered her place for me to stay, which I kindly accepted. A lot of things happened that night but not sex. And I believe she acknowledged while she didn't mind it happened, she would have preferred to have gone slower.

We texted a lot over the weekend into Monday, but yesterday morning she sent me a text that she thought we were moving too fast and she wanted to take it slower because she was new dating and wanted to be careful. Our date for today was cancelled due to this, and she said she was sorry but she still would really want to talk and maybe next week after the weekend she would be up for something.

Okay, so what's the deal here? And right now I'm just giving her space.

Well right now your doing the right thing giving her space but don't give her to much or you might lose her. If she's new to the dating thing then she might just be scared because she knows you know about dating and she doesn't . So take it slow talk to her a lot and confront her so she'll know your there for her. And don't try to push her for another date that will just drive her away even more cause she'll think your forcing her. When she's ready for a date she'll let you know

texting is just fine to, talking and texting. but like I said before don't give her to much space. stay in her life make her feel that your a good guy that she can depend on and not try to rush to places she's never been before. she'll still be into you just as your into her

if you didn't text or talk to her yesterday then talk to (or text) her today you want com off as needy if don't talk to everyday just play it cool and talk to her every other day, and maybe on days you don't talk to her call and say good night or sweet dreams

She could have just been caught up in the moment. Give her the space she needs and eventually she will be okay with more 'mature' steps in a relationship. She wants to keep your respect, and I commend you for respecting her by giving her space.
