My girlfriend of just a year tells me she needs space but wants to still be friends. She also proposed and I agree that if either one of us decide to date we will tell each other before we do.
We continue to talk daily but things were different she was more distant. She constantly asked me if I was seeing anybody and constantly assured me she wasn't.
After around a month I found out just 3 days after she told me she needed space she had gone out of town for the weekend with a man that she was dating prior to me she has told me she was going to visit her sister.
When I confronted her about it first she lied and said it didn't happen then she finally admitted it but said she had done nothing wrong because we were not together even though we had an agreement to tell each other. It bothered me but I decided to give her another chance because she wanted to get back together.
Then after a short time I find out she had spent a lot more time with him than she had told me. When I asked her about it she broke up with me blocked me on all social media and started to say very bad things about me to friends. Any interactions that we've had she treats me horribly. Almost to the point of rage. I told no one about her seeing him and I told no one about why she ended the relationship. Just can't understand why she says the horrible things she does and why she treats me so badly after she ended the relationship?
