Why is it men never break up with girls they no longer love?

My ex and I were dating for 2 years when I noticed he was seeing me less and less and he stopped bothering with me. He would never show me his phone which made me panic and every time I looked at it I’d find him on tinder and girls messaging him. I confronted him about this as he told me I shouldn’t have looked at his phone. I’m just wondering if he didn’t want to be with me and was searching for other females behind my back why couldn’t he have dumped me? And then he would have a easier life instead of pretending to me he wanted me and loved me?

Speaking from experience, a lot of us choose guys that lack communication skills from the very beginning, so a lot of them when they are conflicted, they do not know how to address a situation properly, so they keep it going (hence why a lot of men cheat). They also know you are most likely a good woman and it is hard to come by good people

He was such a good communicator though before as he is a social care worker so knows exactly how the mind works and peoples feelings as his own mother suffered with depression and he had to look after her but I just thought he could have dumped me ages ago

Some guys just do it because they don’t want the confrontation. Instead they start becoming distant or cheat hoping she will break up with him. It’s the fear of guilt for ending it. I think it’s dishonest but I’ve seen many guys who have talked about this strategy. It’s pretty gutless but it does work.

Maybe so I’ve threatened to walk away and blocked him so many times but he’s so used it he doesn’t care I feel like maybe keeping him blocked is the only way
