Do guys feel the need to prove their happiness to their ex?

I ask because a guy who strung me along for 5 years decided to ask my inner circle for favors when it came to his wedding... I don't understand why anyone would do that being that no one not even me has spoken to him or his family in 4 years.

Not to mention these are my bestfriends they barely know him so why is he even asking. Better yet the fact that me and his sister used to be close and then ghosted me after our break up and then she has the nerve to ask favors from me.. like discounts from my bestfriends husband who does photography... and the worst part asking my family to serve food at his wedding... where do you get the nerve?

THE AUDACITY!

Like I leave on pretty good terms with my ex's we remain friends or just cut ties and continue on. If things don't work out it's okay move on. But to come back and do this to show me what? Because who asked?

To me its disrespectful.

Do men really feel the need to one up or shove it in theirs ex face like that?
