Girlfriend dumped me for lack of affection, is it likely we get back together?

My long term girlfriend has ended the relationship because of lack of affection from me being a big problem. When I tried to fix things and was chasing after her she said it’s hard seeing me try now that she’s walked away from me and that she’s not in a place where she wants us to continue and doesn’t want to lead me on. We had a good relationship but communication on my part has been lacking last few months especially. Is there any point in me having some hope or is this relationship done. I no longer contact her because it just makes things harder. It’s been about 6 weeks but we did meet up twice in the first 3 weeks to talk. Any advice is welcome
