I was in a relationship with a 34-year-old douche. During the relationship, he was following a lot of local girls which I found weird, getting comments on his pics from those girls. He always lied to me and said not to worry about those girls he doesn't want anything with them and neither do they. i found out he was texting ALL those girls I suspected, older women, younger, married with children, and also one of his ex's, asking them to meet, hitting on them etc. he even invited his ex to a trip with him.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that he has 0 regrets. Now I already noticed some narcissistic characters in him but still, he has no remorse at all. His sister and best friend felt more shame and apologized that this happened, but not him.

I don't believe in victim shaming a girl in my country was chopped into pieces by her live in partner he has threatened her for 2 years until he did that to her there is lot of psychology behind why a person stays in toxic relationship and why is it difficult to come out of it especially when someone had difficult childhood and grew up to always feel unloved i think it's very easy for me you and any 3rd person to comment and give advice the person who has asked this question only knows the pain they are going through so the least we can do is be nice to them.. what you said about self respect is correct and i strongly agree with you but we can't judge when we don't know their history
