Ex boyfriend delete my family from Facebook, why?

So to keep it short my ex broke up with me about a month ago, we were together for almost a decade. And he said so many confusing things to me and kind of blamed me for the breakup. About 2 weeks later I find out he was cheating on me basically with someone from his job. He changed his relationship status and later his girlfriend posted on his page that they are in a relationship, someone that i know showed me this and they said "wow not even his own family and friends reacted to it.(by the way I had deleted my social media right after the breakup. Also he had all my family at this time too.) Today the same person told me that my ex unfriended my family right after his girlfriend posted that they were in a relationship. They also told me that it was weird that he didn't have his girlfriend as a friend and didn't even react to his girlfriends post, honestly it hurts but I don't even know what that means and I don't want to, im just upset that he took off my family, but I would just like some advice or even ask me questions.
