Why would my ex boyfriend delete my family from Facebook?

My boyfriend broke up with me.

It was really hard for me to deal with

so I deleted him off of Facebook. A month and a half later he deleted my family and my best friend after my best friend uploaded a lot of pictures of us.. why would he do that? why would he care?

Personally, I would want him to delete my family and friends so he won't be able to see future pictures of me. A clean break...that's what I prefer. But then again, I was the one who broke up with my boyfriend so I did the same things as your ex.

I understand it's probably different since he broke up with you meaning that a part of you is still holding onto the past, lingering, and maybe even hoping to get back together. So here's the advice I wanted to give to my ex when he wouldn't leave me alone...DISTRACT YOURSELF. Go out with friends, pick up new hobbies, shopping, flirt with new guys, and for the love of god GET OFF FACEBOOK. Studies have shown that Facebook actually makes people less happy.

He wants to rid you from his life. A way of doing this is delete all people associated with you, so he has no reminders.

From my perspective as a male, I think it may because he doesn't want the possible repercussions that may stem from your family since anyone with half a brain would know that family supports each other. Also keep in mind, you deleted him off first, for whatever reasons that is irrelevant, it's the fact as well that you did first. It's only Facebook, some people live their lives on there seriously and plenty others do not.

He may not even care and that's just the thing, if you do (and I don't mean this in any way harsh), then call him yourself and ask him straight up.
