I have seen the same behavior after my break ups with my exes. When the relationship ends they immediately add people on social media.
So my question is what is the motivation behind this? Because I’ve seen this several times from several exes.

My ex tried to be some kind of an influencer after our break up (he wasn't successful) and everyone around him (we had the same circle of friends) found it to be weird.
Literally the same day of our "mutual" breakup, he went on posting photos with numerous girls, who'd then understand he's doing it to make me jelous. And I kid you not, 3 different girls reached out to me to apologize for his behaviors (they weren't even his friends, just random girls around our community).
Guess they try to feel wanted and loved but that's such a pity way to do it.
How did you feel while he tried to be influencer and posting photos with girls?
I felt stupid tbh. like, this person that I used to respect so much is out there making a fool of himself, and I felt embarrassed to have ever been with him.
I didn't feel jelous tbh cause I knew it wasn't a real connection. If he was out there finding actual love, I would've probably been jelous. But he was just making himself look goofy.
Made it easier for me to let him go.
I would assume that they're looking for a new partner. Someone to date
That’s for sure.
If I ever did this I’m guessing it would be B, except replacing “act cool” with “feel calm”.
