If you realise that your ex never loved you? How would you dealt with it?
Guys can actually move on quick 🤷♂️. If we see the relationship is going south for x reason cannot be repairable, why bother to fix it. Is best to break up move on. Why live like hell? Learn the lesson carry on. There is many many flavors sodas in this world thank God they really are.
Seriously, why keep insisting with someone doesn't want to? Hey be glad y'all didn't get married.
Speaking about marriage there is culture have their own limits I want to say. Which I really don't agree but they believe is the right way but the reality is a mess. I haven't got married but I've encountered in one.
I was dating this beautiful female (Dating: get to know each other, if doesn't work simple move on, never take it as he or she is the one) it was about 5-6 months. Before 3 weeks to valentines. She asked me about "after three years of dating, we must get married". That right there, that is a no no to me. You never ever set date for marriage and making plans. When barely been dating 4-6 months. I felt pressure during 1-2 weeks. I ask why she set limits? Is her parents they won't even allowed her to leave the house unless she is married.
I told her
"I am sorry that doesn't work, probably in your culture but here is logically is different, people living together after dating for x amount years, is when they feel is time to be boyfriend and girlfriend, to see how well can they treat each other and get along. Once they see for x amount of years as boyfriend and girlfriend can get along they feel is fine they can move on to engagement, then to marriage. So from dating and skip the rest move to marriage. That is one roulette game".
We brake up and move on.
If you think about it steps is a long journey before marriage but I personally take it seriously on marriage. I never take it as a game as many now days do.
Never believe lovely words 😆 or tell them. They best way to demonstrate your love is by action. An action is remembered it creates memories in the long run. BUT as we know females love to hear words but we guys love to see action towards us. Females are more sentimental which is fine because they express how happy they feel when they are around you.
So next time you date, just take your sweet time. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert. Keep them up and don't lose them.00 Reply

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThis happened to me. I was heartbroken when the relationship ended. I pined after him for 3 years. I really believed he missed me, thought about me and loved me like I did him. I believed we'd get back together one day.
It wasn't until I searched him on social media one day that I finally let go. I saw that he was in another relationship. He'd post messages telling her how much he loved her and how she'd always be the only one for him. He said she was the only woman he'd ever loved. This devastated me. I can't explain the pain I felt. But in a way it was a blessing, because eventually I was able to let go and stop pining after him.
I realized it was false hope that kept me from moving on. The false believe and illusion that he still missed me and wanted me back one day. I now realise he'd never loved me, but looking back , without the rose tinted glasses' , I can clearly see he never did love me. I accept it now.

+1 yBe grateful he’s an ex… realizing your ex never loved you is no where near as bad as staying in a relationship with someone that doesn’t love you…
And then move on, why waste any more thought on someone who didn’t/doesn’t love you

I know for a fact one of my exes never loved me-
We broke up and moved on. That's why they're an ex: you should be glad they're no longer in your life and leave you wondering how they feel about you, and if it's sincere or not.10 Reply - 2.5K opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic.

00 Reply I had a woman 'friend' for several years. We traveled a lot, entertained a lot, and shared all of the expenses. I would not describe her as a SO, but just a 'travel companion' who shared the same things as I. She once made a comment, that "You probably love me" which I took as very presumptuous on her part, for the kind of relationship we had.
We once had sex, with me eating her to orgasm, on New Years Eve two years ago, without her returning the favor, and to make it worse, I could 'not get it up' and she was no help WHATSOEVER, and I was pissed.
I don't think there was any "love" between the two of us, only 'convenience" if you understand my meaning here. I had a wonderful woman before her that I "Loved" and she went back to her native country, Trinidad

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yLuckily, she only wasted a few months of my time. So I wasn't as sad as I probably would have if I had had time (say a year or two) to develop "real love" for someone merely pretending the whole time. It was only a few months.
Usually I try to reflect on relationships anyway, once they're done. See if there weren't some huge red flags I didn't notice or pay enough attention to... So far, if it's gotten anywhere, I usually end up getting a lot of work, so I can easily throw myself into work until I can kind of distance myself from the situation.
I would say it all depends on the specific circumstances on how I would react.00 Reply
+1 yWell here's my opinion on this , listen this is only my opinion but - if a person doesn't want to be in your life then I would separate myself from that person. Cause like dominos if you let that person back in to your life then I believe your ex will be back like the last domino. You'll have a new group of friends then if you let your ex ( who has no intention of changing ) in the group this person like The last Dominos will cause all the other dominos to fall.

+1 yActions speak louder than words so I wouldn’t be shocked. He claimed to care about me but he just did little things that made me doubt that. They weren’t huge things like being abusive or anything like that but the things he did doesn’t strike me as someone who cares deeply for someone so if I find out he never did, it would be no big deal, it’ll be more like a “I knew it”

+1 yHonestly it turned me into a mess, I was depressed for months. I wanted to hurt him or for someone to hurt him but when it came down to it I couldn’t and I wouldn’t want that. I just continued my life like we had never met and blocked out everything to do with him. I guess I appreciate the pain in a way cause it proved the love I gave does exist and if I don’t ever get it I’m okay with that. I found love on everything and everywhere else
00 Reply314 opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic. My last ex and me never got far enough for love to brought into it, hell she didn't even like me, had to force herself to feel anything towards me.
Hence why she is an ex and shall forever stay that way as for how I dealt with it I'll be honest with you quietly and bitterly still am a little bitter, she wasted a lot of my time and energy because she wasn't honest with me and hid how she actually felt until the very end.

+1 yI think I always knew she didn’t love me as you don’t hurt the people you love, as time went by I just stopped trying or even caring and I eventually dumped her as she got on my nerves and made me ill. I moved on and am getting on better now, she however can’t seem to let me go. 🙄

+1 yHow do you realize that? First you need to define love. He must have loved you in some way, you couldnt be so much tricked while being in commited relationship.
00 ReplyAccept it. Even if I loved him it doesn't mean automatically he was obliged to love me. You can't convince or force anyone to love you and love isn't always a constant feeling.
00 ReplyMake up for it by loving yourself ten fold. Teach yourself how you need to be loved and it will be what you expect from someone else then. Helps filter out the douchebags and save time
00 ReplyIt would likely be a difficult to come to terms with. I would accept it and let go of her. Simple.
00 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic. I couldn't care less. I just get on with my life. Men are easy to find, so it is not a big deal.

True but good men are rare
+1 yI would probably get back together with them just so I could immediately yell at them in a public place and tell them “you never loved me anyway” and then just storm off. That way you can have closure and they won’t think you’re bitter.
