Why do so many men abandon their children?

so many kids in the US grow up without fathers. there are even many adults who say they grew up without fathers. By that , the father abandoned them. Not due to a divorce or seperation. I used to think it was uncommon but now that I"ve gotten older, I realize its a much more common thing than it really was. how do so many men get away with abandoning their children? how is this even legal? are men just not designed to want to be parents?

In the past, the vast majority of women only had sex with men within the bounds of marriage, with a man who was committed to her and their offspring. That has changed drastically and women now breed with low quality men when they have no idea whether those men will stick around and actually be a good father and provider.

For more than five decades women did this with the safety nets of birth control and abortion, and yet women still have managed to make the percentage of children raised by single mothers increase from 5% in 1950 to almost half today.

Women hold all of the reproductive rights, and they have done nothing but abuse those rights by making irresponsible choices that have caused the unraveling of the very fabric of society.

everyone frowns upon a woman choosing to have a baby on her own as a single woman. everyone is telling her that her kid needs a father and that she is doing the child a disservice by having a kid on her own.

but nobody shits on run away dads who abandon their kids.

i don't think having a man in the process of making a baby is necessary. It doesn't matter if you have a man or not. Even if he stays with you after the baby is born, he can leave anytime he wants after that.

I know of some women who have done the same thing. They just get up and leave to be with another man. That type of person is considered a deadbeat parent to me.

For the exact same reason so many (more) women kill their children in their wombs... they are not ready to be, or don't want to be parents.

It's also important to note that the VAST majority of divorces are initiated by women, and there are a lot of women who choose to be single mothers. There are thousands of fathers out there who don't even know they have a child because the mother never told them, something that is perfectly legal in 2023, which is disgusting.

There has been a meteoric rise in children born out of wedlock and raised without fathers over the last 50 years, and the single biggest reason for that is the influence of feminism.

Which one is it, divorced men still see thier kids or they abandon them because they were once married? You're contradicting yourself. You're not making arguments based on facts. You're trying to shift blame for something that women do to men, onto men. The large majority of kids in the USA that are born are born to Whites inside of marries. When those marriages are ended almost exclusively by White women, then those kids become fatherless when the courts award custody to the women the majority of the time. That's just the reality in the USA. Minority populations have higher birth rates outside of wedlock, but they only account for a minority portion of the births across the entire country. They aren't larger enough to make a significant impact on the population statistics overall.
