Ok doesn’t mean he was flirting w them. You didn’t see it yourself. Maybe his friends didn’t like you so they pms Ted that seed in your head to chase you off. If they were really serious in telling you this then I’m not so sure they’re good friends to him. But again you didn’t see it yourself so you’re just going off of hearsay. Not to mention women construe a lot of things as flirting when it really is t. Maybe he’s laughing w her, joking cause she a a nice person who isn’t annoying like a lot of the other women

Hell I probably would have done the same too if you just dumped me out of no where. Doesn’t even sound like you tried talking to him about it. Maybe it’s better that way for him sake.
