My partner of 12 years had left me for the second time, telling me all the same exact things as last year that he doesn’t love me anymore and there’s no future. He’s left our family home and 6 year old daughter. I know it’s foolish of me to want him to come back but I love him. He’s barely spoken to me anf just left. If he really doesn't love me, why is this the same pattern and words as last year when he did it? I’m so confused.

He was the one that came back to me after the 1st time! I haven’t drove him away well at least I thought I hadn’t, he said that we live like we have separate lives, yet I was always asking to do things together as a family.

The same scenario repeated again should be a warning signal that if you accept him back, he will find yet another opportunity to leave you and then again, come crawling back, knowing that he will find a family and shelter waiting for him.

If he is the biological father of your daughter, then you should seek legal advice on how to tie him to his duties as a parent, just in case he decides to leave you again.

I do understand that love makes you do crazy things but that does not mean that one can trample on you at will. Show some backbone and put your foot down. Seek legal counseling on what your options are in such a case.
