My boyfriend broke up with me today and deleted me. Only to add me back on Snapchat and continue to say hurtful things. How could he be so cruel?

We broke up over something so dumb. But he was mad at some female colleague and took it out on me. Then proceeds to dump me and block me. Only to add me back and continue to hurt me. I told him to leave me alone forever which didn’t bother him. I blocked him. I am hurting. I really don’t understand how anyone could be so cruel. 4 years. Meant nothing apparently.
