Why did my ex start to follow my cousins?

He’s not even an ex he was a guy I slept with. He experienced jealousy and possessiveness when we were together. I found out 7 months later he’s followed my cousins. He doesn’t engage with their posts or anything he just followed them. He has a girlfriend and everything I don’t understand why he would do this tbh.

Don't see the problem here. Your cousins are also people. You should work out why your concerned who he's following.

Okay, well, you can quietly brief your cousins on his behavior. Let them decide for themselves to block him or however they feel they want to run with it.

Blocking him out of your life is understandable, but you need to let people in your life decide for themselves how to treat him. You should warn them, in a kindly fashion where its clear your not doing it out of some kind of revenge, then trust the people you care for to make their right choices (which may not be the same as the choice you might have them make).

It's good your thinking of people in your life to protect them, but don't make it about "him" make it about them.
