How do you feel about the u. k. law below?

u. k. law: before anyone can get divorced, a marriage must have lasted for at least one year long.

like they must have tried one year.

the problem is, 1 after wedding people "feel secure stability due to commitment" therefore stop pretending, or stopped diets. one spouse or the other realized the stuff s/he said, during dating or plans, isn't really happening , feels tricked deceived in just a month or two! shouldn't need to wait many months in the situation different from expectations they agreed on.

2, some prenups only if married a full year, so want to divorce before prenup. but if prenup protects assets, this is also a stupid rule. give away to con-artist?

3, divorces occur after various lengths of time the largest portion of divorces, the most, around 10% are in second year... as soon as possible! shouldn't need to wait a year. "shape up or we start process tomorrow" or: don't do that financial decision, if you do we start divorce tomorrow? haha we must wait a year?

how do you feel?
