What are some tips to get over a relationship?

The break up was horrible. I found out he was cheating. I destroyed our home we had together moved back with my mother. He called me numerous times threatening to put me in prison. He took my car refuse to return it. I’ve tried calling him he now has me blocked. The break up is bad. I keep telling myself the relationship is over we are not getting married. I meditate whenever I feel sad. After the house damages I know we will never get bad together. But there’s a part of me that still has hope we can go to therapy. However I know those thoughts are apart of the grieving. What are some tips for getting over a break up.

Cut off all contact with him and realize you deserve better than that shit , don’t give him the time or day to try to convince you , that he still loves and cares about you , cuz he is clearly talking out of his ass if he says he does , People don’t cheat on people they love and care about , so there is no excuse for his actions , Realize you deserve to be with someone that wouldn’t cheat on you. So block his ass as well and start hanging out with your friends and find hobbies to help keep your mind off of him as much as possible. Understand he has been lying to you the whole time he was cheating on you , be grateful you found out the truth , because he would of continued cheating on you and lying to your face , if you didn’t find out the truth. He is scum and doesn’t deserve to be with anyone , people that cheat are selfish people that only care about themselves, they have no dignity or respect for anyone but themselves. Whatever emotional feelings you have for him? Realize they don’t mean shit , because you didn’t mean shit to him when he was cheating on you. Never ever take a cheating partner back into your life , you would only be digging your own grave by thinking things could get better between you both , by you moving on from him and ignoring him completely hopefully will teach him a lesson not to cheat on someone again , but understand that is no longer your problem. Focus on yourself and do what is best for yourself , do not involve him in your life whatsoever. He should mean nothing to you anymore

As it says Time will Heal any wound, and is true.. i know you want that healing to pass, fast.. But sadly won't happen the way we want... On the other hand just... Get Out There, kill your time with friends, find new hobbies, etc... and you'll see that... That Regret/Sorrow/Heartbreak barrier slowly-slowly will come down... As getting back with him? Better not! Once a cheater... Always a cheater... Trust me... Been there done that... And from taking your car to "taking your life" is just a little step... so i suggest you Cut your losses and Let it go! Because all this "make up and forget" will contain in just 2 minutes kissing,10 minutes fucking, and 1 minute sleeping back to back on each other, after that? The Toxicity will take over the Air and the Mood, and the Bad things can go to Worse...🤷‍♂️

Best tip... move on. Find someone nice to have a relationship with. Don't dwell on the past, live in the present and plan for the future.

Really sorry to hear that. I think first is to accept it is over, then to look at focusing on getting yourself pulled together, look at doing something, a project, doing something with your mum, some time off work, go some place you want to visit and do the full tourist thing.

a lot is moving your mind away from everything, to accept there is no going back, find something you can use as goals to achieve over next few months.

Find a willing guy and ne intimate with no strings. It may end up being a relationship, but maybe not. My sister had a friend who was the guy she used to get over a breakup each time (he was willing and aware). After the 3rd time, she started dating him. They're engaged now.
