How do you get over your partner’s past relationships?

Sometimes you just wonder, what if the previous girls were better in bed. What if his exes loved him better. What if his exes were prettier. What if his exes impressed him more.

Specially if you’re a woman who’s never been in a relationship before 😒😒

What if he misses one of them, or two of them. Specially if this guy was popular with that ladies. What if one of his exes was smarter or more intelligent. 😢 or something like that. What if one of his exes was skinnier, or she had a bigger better butt. 😢

What happens if they were 8 ft tall and had 15 nipples it really doesn't matter does it I mean he's with you why would you compare yourself to somebody else you are supposed to be confident you were supposed to be number one you're not that person so don't compare yourself to that person you are you and what is pretty have to do with it you have to look at yourself and ask yourself what kind of heart do you have are you kind or you considerate are you confident are you happy are you smart are you intelligent are you a giver are you a taker do you like yourself are you beautiful if a guy is going to date you merely by your appearance or the way you look it's never going to last because that's not who you are you are the person on the inside and that's all you have to care about you cannot compare yourself to anybody except for you he's with you right now and that's all that matters right and if you're going to compare yourself to a person compare who you are on the inside and make those changes within to become a better person I would say that you're probably a pretty good person right now so just smile have fun with your boyfriend and don't worry about exes

When you go see a movie, do you compare it to all other movies you've ever seen while you're watching that movie? When you eat a meal, do you compare it to all other meals you've ever eaten? The object is to live in the moment, not focus on the past. The past is merely something to learn from, not something to dwell on. Become observant and see how your actions impact your partner in the present. By learning what works, you can enhance your unique qualities that impress him... making you irreplaceable. He is choosing to be with you, not stay with his past relationships. Let him fully enjoy you. Your insecurities will destroy your relationship.

I'm not sure you do, the past relationships is what made me who I am today. Without them I would be a different person.

I don't personally have this issue too much, but I've been with many guys who do, especially the sexual side of it.

Usually it isn't a problem is we have similar history but when its lopsided, then the underdog has issues.

This is why I often say, past sex numbers matter, but only in as much as that your similar in numbers. If someone has 75 partners and the other has 3... the person with 3 is going to resent it most the time (not always.)

Telling someone that their feelings aren't valid, is a great way to cause more problems. Everyone's feelings are perfectly valid.

Best I can say is to realize that they aren't together anymore, because they didn't work out and if they had worked out, you would not be with that person today.

Dear, I NEVER think that way! at all times keep in mind, he is with YOU now! I am with a man who has a kid with his ex. I take care of the boy as if he is my own son! His ex girl looks the very opposite of me. Should I be worried about that? Should I spend my relationship thinking: Oh, he is with me, but used to have a black woman before me. Does he prefer her? I never do. He is mine, I am his and we have been together for 5 years now! His ex does not like me but I dont care, I respect her as she is the mother of the boy I also ended up loving and the ex of my man! I will always take care of him and focus on the love he gives me and gets from me :) I do not mind his ex being somewhat of a bitch to me. It is what it is lol

My wife didn’t have exes. few of mine live in the same state we do. That does actually have disadvantages though, she went straight from her parents house to our first apartment without living on her own and learning how to do that in between. Never having been in a relationship before, it was a bit of a learning curve for her. she sometimes does get insecure about me having exes, but that’s been more than 10 years. I keep reassuring her that their exes for a reason, and we’re generally past that by now but once in a while it crops up.

I don't worry about their past relationships, for the same reason I don't want them to worry about mine: they are exes for a reason.

No matter what positive qualities their exes had, they obviously weren't compatible for one reason, or another. She is with me, now, and not them, so we're obviously more compatible, which automatically means I'm better. 😊

You don't have to be the best at things to be wanted. Comparing yourself to exes is a sure way to cause your relationship to fail. Not saying there's anything wrong to want to continuously improve yourself but lingering on what ifs isn't healthy for anyone
