I left my babydaddy of almost 17 years to be with him. He won’t leave her alone. When we were messing around, he wouldn’t let me talk to her. He wouldn’t even tell me who she was or anything. He promised me he was gonna marry me and even purchased me an engagement ring. Why won’t he leave his wife for me? I don’t understand why I can’t have him but she can? They are having their first child together.

Remove yourself from that situation. He is starting a family with his wife and he will never leave her for you. You should be ashamed of yourself. Grow up.

He may be prioritizing his family and the new child, or he might simply be incapable of leaving his current situation. Whatever the reason, it's clear that he's not prioritizing you.
