How long will it take for him to miss me after breaking up with me after a 2 year relationship?

Well me and this guy have been going out for 2 years. Prior from that we were good friends for 3 years. We just broke up 2 weeks ago on our anniversary. He broke up with me. The reason why was because we were fighting a lot the last month and he said he did not want to be in a relationship anymore. During these 2 weeks of being broken up we met up twice and only texted those 2 days. The meet ups are pretty awkward but were still good. It wasnt a bad break-up so there is no hate from either side. I ask him if he misses me and he says no. And he tells me he's over me. But when I ask him if he's truly over me and would never go out with me again he always says, "IONO". I understand its only been 2 weeks and he is not going to miss me so early, but how long will it take for him to realize he wants to be with me?

I think it all depends on the role you played in his life. I recently broke up with my ex, because we were fighting also. Although I feel its for the best, I miss him every time I lay in my bed or when I say something that I know only he would get. Being a guy, I guess if he told you he missed you it would be like misleading to think there's another chance when he isn't ready for that. I think he does and it probably started right before you guys saw each other the first time. But I don't think just because he does miss you, that it means he can deal with being in a relationship. Chances are, that if you guys fought for a month, it may take a month or more for him to decide if he wants to try again. Best thing for you to do is to give him space and continue to be the person you are. Work on everything you felt you were doing wrong in the relationship because, every relationship is a learning experience.

Really you cannot put a time on it, and I doubt anyone here will be able to give you that answer. If he is definately over you, then he may never miss you. If there are still feelings, he may come back after some time, but really time will judge that, how much time? No one can predict that.

well he probibly already misses you he is jsut hiding his feelings... guys are kinda slow just remember that... and if he doesn't then he isn't worth it!

i went through the exact same thing. on my birthday he did. we were always fighting! when I ask if we well ever be together again all he says is I dunno
