Yep. Happened to me way to many times but it doesn't end in a definite break up. We kiss, cuddle, love each other still and admit we fought over petty things. I've had way to many mini break ups with my current on going 2 year relationship. I think it's just the thought of knowing we are losing each other, that we then realize that it isn't worth losing what we have/gone through for what we fought about. The more you can tolerate and get back together, the stronger you are. (But it depends if it's reasonable to tolerate, not everything should be tolerated, there are limits! :P )

But in your case, if you guys have actually broken, broken up, then.. er.. I'm not too sure. Is this the first break up your undergoing within you guys ?

Yes he broke up with me and it was final. And no he had girlfriends before me. But it was my first time.

We just both weren't happy with ourselves and in our relationship. And he was moving away and had trouble finding a job. So I suppose that played a role. It wasn't a bad break-up as such.

Although it shattered my heart. For some reason I thought we would always be together. But live moves on.

I feel for you :( And I'm sorry you guys didn't work out. But at least you guys ended in a good way? I re-read it and yeah I do think it is a bit strange if you were still kissing then after. Cuddling, is understandable as you guys would be missing each other but yeah, it is a little confusing if you had a definite break off ! That would be extremely hard for me to break off and still not be attached in that way !

You'd probably be hard-pressed to find many people with that experience. More common would be people in the no-tears (that you let the other person see) "Okay, we'll break up, but we can still use each other for sex" category who break up and then screw like there's no tomorrow (been there done that).

Yeah my ex girlfriend kept kissing me and crying hysterically when she was breaking up with me. Like seriously? It made me pissed off more than anything.
