My ex girlfriend invited me over to her place around a week ago after saying that we need to talk after spending close to 4 months together. Her reasoning was that she felt that we were not compatible long term however she said she really liked me.
She reminisced on the moments that we spent together and told inside jokes with her starting cry leading to us cuddling holding hands and making out on the couch for what must of been an hour. She told me how I was not listening to her expressing her needs believing we are not compatible long term due to this. I acknowledged I took her for granted at times and expressed back to her me willing to improve.
We then made our way to the door where we held eachother and made out again for around another hour with us both tearing up before I left. I asked her to think about her decision which she replied I will.
Since then she had been cold with her text messages telling me that she could no longer be able to continue seeing me romantically and was crying due her not thinking we were compatible in the long run. I told her that I did not understand and wanted to work on the relationship but that I would respect her decision. I then went no contact with it being two days so far
My question is what are the odds that she will back? And is it normal to cuddle and make out during a break up because it sure did not feel like a break up. Thanks!
