Dont put perfume on it... as a guy I prefer not to have my sweat shirt smell too much like a girl when I get it back. As for when to give it back, just play it by ear. You said the 2 of you like each other so keep it for a while. You could use it as an excuse to set up a date or seem him again. Also you can joke around with him and tell him you like and your keeping it forever... he'll appreciate that you like his stuff.
nah, don't put perfume on it, men like to smell like men, and women are attracted to when we smell like men (exception of making sure its not a "bad" smell)

Give it back to him whenever you see him and don’t put perfume on it unless he seems like he is the type that would think it’s ok because some guys don’t like perfume on it. It’s only a sweatshirt so it doesn’t really mean anything as long as you give it back

i put perfume on it & next time we saw each other he made me smell it and said it smelt like my perfume and said it smelt nice. & that i claimed it with my scent lmao. then another time he said his jumper still smelt like me & checked if it still smelt nice and it did :)
