Why did my ex boyfriend send me a blank text?

My live in boyfriend of almost 3 years broke up with me about 3 months ago. He moved out and moved in with a friend of his. I was stupid and did the crying, begging, chasing thing for about 2 months! He would answer my calls, texts and talk to me but then he finally came flat out and said we were never getting back together and he didn't love me anymore. I was devastated and quite a mess but finally came to my senses and realized I would be okay and maybe he wasn't the right one for me. I told him the break up was probably the best thing for both of us and I wished him the best. Well, after a month or so of no contact I get a blank text from him! What the heck is that suppose to mean? I didn't respond

Sometimes, I send a blank text to signify that I've read the text the person has sent to me but didn't have a response for it. It's also entirely possible that he tried to send you a picture/text and there was an error so it appeared as blank.

Could have been an accident. Could have been to see if you would respond. Either way, just ignore it and move on with your life. Don't put yourself through anymore worry about this PAST relationship.
