PLEASE HELP: EX Girlfriend sending nasty texts to my phone!

I blocked her previously from my phone and now she has a new number and now it's less frequent. she filed for assault against me and I know she's out of her therapy and now she just texts me things like go to hell or to tell me to go f*** myself. I don't know what to do

Whatever you do, do not text her back. She could be using texts you send back to her from these messages in court and this could be brought up if you guys on either end have filed a restraining order previously or have an assault case pending. NO CONTACT is a good rule in these types of situations. It shows the court that you have been fully cooperating with them.

You need to let her run out of steam, because if she is only texting you because she is angry she will eventually give up if she wants a rise out of you. Just let her text you and don't react to her, no responce no nothing... I would save texts from her you deem important because they may come up in court.

Have you contacted a lawyer? It sounds like you need representation.

if you did indeed assault her, then this is what we call the residual anger that this girl feels towards her ex ... you. I think she is just getting it out of her system because she's angry, frustrated and hurt from the ordeal and she may have some sort of relapse into this past event that caused not only physical trauma but also emotional.

I think that you should just say 'I'm sorry' through your text and don't pick a fight with her, no matter how frustrating because you don't want this thing blown out of proportion and tell her to stop and move on and that she deserves better ---I am assuming that you did assault her because I read that in your question

That's harassment. You can go to the police and file a report as well as show them the texts. If your case for assault is still open then it might help your case a lot. But if you don't want to take legal action then maybe talking to her or having a close friend of hers talk to her about it.

Just login to your online account (I have Spring and can do this - not sure if other services allow you the same luxury) and then enter the other person's cell phone number to be blocked from texting you. It's that simple.

Well first why is she filing assault on you? is she just so crazy she is making it up?or did you really assault her? either way keep all the text...make a paper trail of it. Because if you really assaulted her you would think she wouldn't want anything to do with you. So if neccessary call police and block her new number or change yours. Hope this helps!
