I know this is satire, but you can taste the bitterness in it. I understand black women's features aren't the most liked in the West, but it is what it is, everyone has something that isn't liked by most people. This is just like the Takes and questions of guys complaining about being short/out of shape/hairy/...
I really don't know how to reply to this cause I go wanna point something out, but don't know how to go about it without appearing insensitive towards you and the general public. Also, don't talk shit about sundresses. They are perfect!
Anyways, I obviously don't know you and don't know what you're attracted to, but I feel like this is sorry of you reflecting how white people want you (black women) to look and act like. Like, you're 1 thing, guys you like are attracted to another a specific way, so you try to be or try to live up to their standards. This isn't an indictment on you or anything cause I feared you or someone else would think I'm insinuating that you're an ain't jemima. You're attracted to what you're attracted to. I'm black and that's one of the biggest crimes I think we face, but that's a debate for another day. My philosophy just happens to be to be myself cause it's hard to be something you're not and there's someone for everyone
Also, you take that back! Sundresses are amazing! Nothing looks better than a girl in a sundress, sandals, sunhat and sunglasses. The next closest thing is a maxidress/maxiskirt 😍
I'm attracted to anyone I end up having a deep emotional connection to, and this myTake is my way of telling the half a million black girls who I see skin bleaching or doing some stupid shit to their bodies that will end up ruining their looks long term (balding from perms/weave and skin damage from skin bleaching) just to impress people they really shouldn't want to impress or attract. It's also my way of bringing to light about how far some POC go just to fit societies beauty standards. It's not just black women who do this there are other minority women doing the same thing, but since I'm black it's easier for me to talk about some of the shit black women go through. It's also a reflection of how everyone tends to want us to act and look like because it's not just white people telling us this. There's actually a lot of men of colour who talk about how women of colour should dress and act this way just to suit their tastes. I've seen it and heard it being said to me and.. (cont.)
I actually meant to ask you that question about whether the store was a air about how you felt about society or a general statement what black women "should" look like and act. I just forgot to ask 😑. But yeah, the standards are kinda ridiculous, but not gonna lie, better y'all than me 😂. I'll tell you right now, I'd never be able to be a girl. I'm too lazy to change shirts some days 😑. The only thing I find funny and ironic is how girls complain about this shit (rightfully so), but don't collectively do much about it
Part of it has to do with the golden ratio and this ironic phenomenon that where being more generic makes you more attractive. I personally like most of that stuff (minus the bleaching and I still don't get weaves), but I just think people need to keep it real
by the way, I don't know why, but I thought you said you're from new York. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else
When you wrote "colour", a few times, it threw me off. And I hate you, ya lucky bastard. I hate it up here (new Jersey) and trying to move down south... Savannah is my dream city 😮😱😍
I hate the fact pace and the cold. Also, I love in the middle of nowhere. Trust me, I know what boring as shit looks like. We got an overpriced bowling alley and a movie theater. That's about it
I enjoyed your satire. By the way, t shirt and jeans is one of the best outfits for both, men and women in my opinion. If they have a somewhat attractive build, it can be very sexy...
Geez, I wish I saw this before I saw the reply on the other comment. And yes, I know I'm short fused, but I told myself to not take anyone's mess a long time ago. I'm short fused, but I'm honest about what's on my mind. xD
Noone is born trans. gender is taught after birth, Being trans is suffering from gender dysphora a mental illneas they are literally both from insecurities. they are both diseases of delusion.
What black people do you personally know that whiten their skin and "try to look white " because all the black people I know dont. Ones that wear weave wear it because they would like longer straight hair not to fit in with white people.
@nojokecarmichael i guess i don't know any personally. although perhaps they use lightening products without my knowledge. but for sure in hollywood it's a trend. From little Kim, to Beyonce and Nikki Minaj
@nojokecarmichael Well, there's little kim in this post. Vybz Kartel. And the infamous Michael Jackson. Bleached so hard, he changed genders. lol. In real life, I don't know anyone too. Hollywood is a monster bitch.
@nojokecarmichael like i said i don't know anyone personally but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. we have to consider that with role models (whether we perceive them or not personally as such) like Beyonce or Nikki Minaj doing it, it then has to be assumed that regular non-celebrity women are doing it as well
@madhatters4 mmm, OK as if Asians and other races don't lighten their skin. Black people damn sure don't do it to look white. It's more of an option to even out a skin tone, either that or tanning to do so
@nojokecarmichael i never said other groups don't do things to get a skin color closer to what they think is desirable. to "Black people damn sure don't do it to look white" is of course false. we can say for certain that some people do it to look whiter or at least lighter. we can't make any blanket statement about the actions of all people and really expect them to be true
@madhatters4 if you can't make blanket statements people and expect them to be true then why are you and these other racist pathetic assholes, generalizing black people and expect it to be true? White people dont go around tanning, getting lip fillers, trying to get a bigger butt, etc? (trying to look black)
@nojokecarmichael asking this "White people dont go around tanning, getting lip fillers, trying to get a bigger butt, etc?"
shows me you clearly didn't read my first statement. you are looking to find offense. no not every black person tries to be white and i never said all black people do. just like all white people to not tan for darker skin. perhaps read the statements closer rather than simply being defensive
Short hair looks better on some people than long hair does, and black girls who have their hair natural suffer from shrinkage so it will look a lot shorter than it actually is.
"Short hair looks better on some people than long hair does" i haven't see one case of this yet (i live in a predominately black area) "black girls who have their hair natural suffer from shrinkage so it will look a lot shorter than it actually is" I don't know what this means but most girls look better without all the weave they put in. Most girls I've seen have enough hair without weave unless they cut it for some reason
I meant, I think the lines in bold are solid advice. For 5, a lot of women get into that "I'm a strong, independent woman and I don't need a man" thing. Those are usually the ones complaining about not having a guy. It would be fine if they actually meant it, but they rarely ever do. 6 because clothes can enhance your attractiveness. I'm not an attractive guy at all, but I know if I dress like a frump, I'm lowering my chances even further.
I think sundresses look fine, but that's besides the point. You never wear t-shirts and jeans? What do you wear exactly? Judging by the "tight and short" bit, leggings, and skimpy shorts/skirts? I'm probably reading too far into that.
I am actually into Japanese street fashion. I wear Lolita and Fairy kei when I'm not too lazy to dress up. Tight clothes that show too much aren't really my thing, and I also like bright colours and clothes out of the norm so those two fashion subcultures screamed to my soul the most. I don't mind short skirts since I wear shorts under them, but tight clothes make me feel uncomfortable. :T
Oh that's interesting. I googled Japanese street fashion and it seems so varied. What's something close to what you would wear on a normal day if you don't mind me asking?
That's because there's different genre's of J-fashion and I'd wear it everyday if I could, but I can't go to work in it and some days I am too lazy to plan out a coord so I go out in sweats/jeans lookin' like a mom despite not having kids or I stay home. Today was a stay home day. xD
I'm glad you get that it's satire. Anon dude didn't even read the whole thing and bitched about me having issues with lord only knows whatever black girl he thinks I have issue with. Dude needs mental help.

There's bitter and then there's annoyed. I'm the latter.
I don't know, it seems the opposite to me :/
Then you should read more carefully.
If you say so... :/
Bro, nobody gives a fuck.
I really don't know how to reply to this cause I go wanna point something out, but don't know how to go about it without appearing insensitive towards you and the general public. Also, don't talk shit about sundresses. They are perfect!
Dude, just say it.
P. S. Sundresses are ew. xD
Also, little Kim, damnit!

I am from New York but moved to Georgia years ago.
When you wrote "colour", a few times, it threw me off. And I hate you, ya lucky bastard. I hate it up here (new Jersey) and trying to move down south... Savannah is my dream city 😮😱😍
It's boring as shit in Georgia. If there's anything to do you've probably already done it. x. x
I hate the fact pace and the cold. Also, I love in the middle of nowhere. Trust me, I know what boring as shit looks like. We got an overpriced bowling alley and a movie theater. That's about it
Ofc its a joke. Lmfao last date was upset that I don't do natural.
I enjoyed your satire. By the way, t shirt and jeans is one of the best outfits for both, men and women in my opinion. If they have a somewhat attractive build, it can be very sexy...
I think they look plain Jane on anyone. xD
Hehe.. Well we have difgerwnr tastes i guess.. I for one like seeing women in casual dresses rather than formal ones
At last! Someone who is willing to speak the truth!
I was poking at you here @asker. I know how short fused you can be sometimes lol
Geez, I wish I saw this before I saw the reply on the other comment. And yes, I know I'm short fused, but I told myself to not take anyone's mess a long time ago. I'm short fused, but I'm honest about what's on my mind. xD
Who is that white girl next to little kim... is it her?
It's the new and "improved" little Kim.
Lol. So im guessing she is transracial?
Or has issues.
It doesn't even look like her anymore. I guess she hates being black :(
@RainbowFanGirl i mean if we accept transgenders shouldn't we accept transracial people? They are both mental issues in the end of the day.
One is biological and the other came to be through insecurities. There's no comparing the two.
Noone is born trans. gender is taught after birth, Being trans is suffering from gender dysphora a mental illneas they are literally both from insecurities. they are both diseases of delusion.
:D
Man, the things black people do to look white, while white people are trying to look black, i. e big butts and thick lips.
Keep up with the Joneses and the Kardashians!!!
LOLOLOLOLOLOL :D:D:D:D
it's funny isn't it. black people use products to lighten their skin. white people bake in the sun to darken their skin.
What black people do you personally know that whiten their skin and "try to look white " because all the black people I know dont. Ones that wear weave wear it because they would like longer straight hair not to fit in with white people.

even if i did all these things i would never a cute black girl.
i hate black girls with short hair

LOL omg I screamed once I saw the bald lady
How loud? xD
Well. my boyfriend hit me with a pillow automatically, so I guess pretty loud xD
5 (other than some of the silly stuff under it) and 6 doesn't seem like satire.
I personally do think sundresses are ugly, and wearing t-shirts and jeans to make people look like moms, but it is satire.
I meant, I think the lines in bold are solid advice. For 5, a lot of women get into that "I'm a strong, independent woman and I don't need a man" thing. Those are usually the ones complaining about not having a guy. It would be fine if they actually meant it, but they rarely ever do.

Fairy kei looks interesting. Cotton candy clothing.
That's because there's different genre's of J-fashion and I'd wear it everyday if I could, but I can't go to work in it and some days I am too lazy to plan out a coord so I go out in sweats/jeans lookin' like a mom despite not having kids or I stay home. Today was a stay home day. xD
I believe there was a GUY (at least originally..) named Michael Jackson who did this first...
His situation was different. His autopsy actually revealed that he had Vitiligo.
I'm happy that I have all the standard to be loved except for clothes this shoes are too ugly
Can i be a feminine black girl too? ? ?
If you can follow these easy steps.
Excellent!
Absolutely love the satire! :-D
#OneLove
i love the satire
I'm glad you get that it's satire. Anon dude didn't even read the whole thing and bitched about me having issues with lord only knows whatever black girl he thinks I have issue with. Dude needs mental help.
lmao he clearly only skimmed through for the reasons xD A lot of people tend to do that.
I enjoy satire and i can usually tell if someone is using it in their writing
Oh lord, I loved this! :D
But some of those outfits were cute tho. >_>
>_> No they weren't.
<_<
v_v
you're breaking my heart.
Comedy gold
Indeed.
Love the sarcasm lol
