Normally I would agree, but when you have coworkers in other departments openly threatening you because she made you out to be a creeper, it is a lot worse than just moving on. I will now have to spend every day at work in fear and looking over my shoulder, and why? All because I approached the wrong girl.

@JRICHARDS1996 I have some advice for you: Try to explain everyone everything what happened. Be calm and confident in it. Explain that she gave her number voluntarily and that she suddenly changed her mind (or I don't know what happened) to make you seem like a creeper.
Explaining is the best thing and only that can be done. Are there people you trust at work? Talk to your boss about this. Figure it out with someone who is neutral. But please keep in mind. Don't back off, just explain it. They will believe you, especially if you tell someone you trust.

I am sorry this happened to you. She is a terrible person. Truly terrible, and what she did is despicable. But blaming strangers that you've never met or know because of just one is not healthy. You might just be venting, which is a good way to let off steam.

I disagree. This woman was pushing 30 (late 20s) there's no excuse for that behavior. Even teens don't act like that.
You take me wrong :) I didn't talking about the woman. I didn't even bother myself to talk about that "lady" . I just wanted him to know that making a wrong decision is ok cause we are all making wrong decisions everyday of growing-up. If we're affraid of making them then how we could know which is right or wrong, which one is bad or good :)

People are judged by their mistakes and past. Women need to stop thinking they can do whatever they like without consequences and then the slate is wiped clean as soon as they reach 30. The time to stop behaving that way is 18.
