Those guys are just too bitter and prideful to realize that paying for a first date is just a sweet romantic gesture, not a worldwide conspiracy against the male race. Admittedly, some girls take it too far, sometimes a guy just may not have the money to pay at the moment, but overall I think some guys are simply losing their minds over nothing.

Easily solution. you don't seem to be one to have a problem with paying based on what you just said, so you can pay and then never have to even worry about the guy having to moan about paying.

Anyway it's totally fair that men pay for dates. It's because women are financially oriented in dating whereas men are visually oriented, which is why women put much more effort into their appearance.
As for only wanting the good bits of equality...
Should we kick men in the balls once a month, slit their junk in order to get custody over their kids, enforce beauty pressures upon them so they start going under the knife (cosmetic surgery) 10x more than they do now, start dying more often from eating disorders and starving themselves, alter their brain chemistry so they suffer anxiety and depression at equal rates with women, etc?
