Just because someone is country doesn't mean they have a solid family foundation and you were suggesting. I had the opposite pretty much, I can say I've experienced all walks of life these days.
I'm sorry about that. This is thinking what an ideal country man would look like for a girl— it doesn't have to be true.
Amen Sister, ... Amen ! Thank you ! I was farm born and raised in Darke Co. Ohio, not a cowboy but definitely a Plowboy, hard work , respect, love of plants and animals , and especially Family first, !
Reading this made my heart warm ! Thank you !
" you can take the boy away from the farm... but you'll never take the farm out of the boy" Blessings!
And though a city girl born and raised, my dad had people from Barataria, LA. that we visited every two weeks or so and though only 40 minutes from New Orleans, it was a hunting, fishing village of lovely cousins of my dad's and mine. Dad spent all his summers there growing up. I have great respect for people who farm and fish and sell their produce to make a living and feed others. My dad's first cousin was my alternate dad. I'd sit and talk to him for hours and whenever I went to his house he wanted to feed me and I never left empty handed. Best treat: FLOUNDER! Tell me which restaurants in America you can find THAT on the menu. Sweetest fish ever. You can fish it off the Gulf coast in Biloxi area, but it's work. I have artwork showing people flounder fished at night! All this is because of cousin Henry and my father. I love New Orleans, but I love Barataria just as much. And here's my big caveat. If we ALL move to the country, it won't be the country anymore. I like having distinct places. Keep them all liveable. Respect the differences and distances. Visit and give each the love they deserve.
Awesome! That's a beautiful story, and I'm so glad to find a young lady who still loves and respects the rural environment! Thank you for sharing, ! Have a wonderful weekend!
I do because I want to live on the countryside and have animals.
Most men nowadays aren't "country men" though, or maybe it's just where I live... Most men here are very creative and care about making music or other forms of art or looking stylish and earning money.
This is really good!
Don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys
Don’t let em play guitars and drive them old trucks
Let em be doctors and lawyers and such...
@Orangeandturquoise they canceled The Ranch after eight seasons
Hmm I didn't know!
@Orangeandturquoise yeah...
Martin Mull plays the hippie criminal defense lawyer. He does a lot of shrooms, but at least he keeps it real. First thing he says when Colt tells him Mary’s been arrested for murder is “Hey, maybe we can blame it on this other dude!”
You explain things in such a cute way. I love it 😊
@Orangeandturquoise 😊😊😊
omg wtf :D :D :D :D you watch way too many movies girl. Get out in the real world to see what girls want
wow ur 102 girl; don't go out into the world just yet because you might get corona and die. Also this is from my experiences and opinions, that's why i added a note!
what experiences, Im 102 Im the one whos experienced
Most country people are conservative and have a modest lifestyle. City people look down on us as if we are degenerates who only vote for the far-right party because we are too stupid to understand politics.
I live in the south and I don't see this at all. Women seem to want no attachment, well off assholes who don't really love them, high on drugs losers who make them feel falsely satisfied.
That is what most women want.
oof. well they need help.
I’ll trade looks for intelligence. You can be kind and hard working all day long, but if we can’t hold an intelligent conversation, we won’t last.
Country guys are great, but they usually don't want a country girl.
Then you put this into five minutes of actual practice only to find yourself in bed next to a bald drunk who has only a few actual teeth left and probably loves crack more than he ever will you.
Yeaaah... Don’t believe anything you see in movies. A ‘country man’ in a small town are bar hopping, wife cheating, racist, cow selling farmers.
Ii wish I was a cowboy... like I am at heart, but I live in the wrong part of the world XD and I don't have the hat
@Shamalien
Do uou know what a true cowboy is?
@MysteriousDarkness go on
Needy guys are a turnoff so the cowboy automatically gets points.
No thanks. I was turned off by the love for animals and country.
okay well I guess its not your "cup of tea" and that's okay! every one has difference preferences.
Not me, im from kentucky and small town country boys are usually stupid and annoying.
I am a girl / woman and do not want a Country Man ! thanks
Any reason you don't¿
I think the "country man" you describe here is almost as rare today as a good woman.
So you speak for all women. Yet you don't like when I generalize you all as trash and hoez... Typical psychos.
Do you not see "Note: these are my personal views but I feel like most girls share aspects of my views. Also this is about "ideal," not every day country men." THESE ARE MY OPINIONS; not anyone else's. This is why its called a "myTake" because its my take on something and I am expressing how I feel and what I think other girls feel.
Speak for yourself, sister.
I want a complex-ass, deep-ass, genuinely good individual who HOPEFULLY does not fucking wear cowboy boots or listens to country.
Nah. Also, cowboys often also have been known to be involved in animal slaughter (not all)... so... uh... not really the same as loving animals.
Sorry, I should say: there are SOME former cowboys who go on to work in slaughterhouses due to their experiences with animals. Plus, rodeo's actually aren't entirely humane either. Just sayin'.
Yeah they are almost as bad as these vegetable murderers.
@Chase7777 😂😂😂
My question is what's wrong with an easy going suburban kid lol
haha nice. nothing though. just keep being you!
