well i have to admit that i used to laugh as a young teen (i feel stupid about it now tho), now not at all, in fact if i could i'd help him (maybe ask for some more help) and bring him to a clinic, it'll be a completely different story if it was someone who deserved it though
i used to play with my little brother in soccer before and once i did a hard kick but my ankle twisted and the shot curved sharply, i shouted to my brother (he was goalie) not to catch it because it was unpredictable but he tried and caught it only to curve its path down his groin, by the time i got to him (i was halfway across the field) he was puking and couldn't move at all, we had to bring him to the clinic with a stretcher, i was hurt from the kick but he was literally paralyzed for half an hour o__o25 Reply
Asker+1 ywow so you kicked it from THAT far away and it still hurt him that bad? was it still travelling really fast or something
- +1 y
Yeah I back kicked a guy one (ok more than once) by accident in Karate and he could not get off the mat. Someone had to drive him home and I never saw him again. I did feel bad but it happens a lot in MMA.
Guys get like all freaky embarrassed about this.
:) - +1 y
i was going for the goal so i intended to do a powerful corner kick, but it sliced and curved towards the center of the net towards my brother, the reason he was goalie was because our team was practicing together, half on one side and half on the other, so he was at the wrong place at the right time..
@crazyincalifornia i feel your pain lol, i feel guilty every-time i slam my (40+ year old) sensei down the mat, but he usually expects it so i barely hurt him xD (i primarily do aikido so i dont hurt him, but i study 4 other martial arts and am planning to study Kyūdō when i find the chance)

+1 yIDK! I guess we all know how sensitive guys are down there. It's funny because we aren't I guess.
I take Karate and trust me we girls know how to back a guy off that's getting too rough during sparring.
We call it a cup graze where we but a kick between his legs, not on the cup, but just below it. They get the point so to speak. We could have put him down hard, but didn't. LOL!
Guys are waay stronger as a rule so we think the balls are kind of a fair equalizer.

Asker+1 yare you kidding lol arghhhhh... i really hate that we have this weakness and girls know it... i hate knowing i can be brought down by one stupid kick... balls are not a fair equaliser they are totally off limits and its cheating
Asker+1 yalso if he was wearing a cup it wouldn't put him down

Nut kicks are usually illegal in Karate except in the advanced belts.
However, that is really changing. Many dojos are now allowing it because it is an effective tool of deterrence and defense.
A ball kick can disable a male for an extended period of time, allowing the person attacked to call the police. She can just stand by and watch, no need to run, although that's the recommendation.
We don't do it for fun. But I weigh exactly 100 lbs and I can stop a guy dead in his tracks that weighs 300 lbs.
XD - +1 y
No. Guys say the cup is useless against a full ball kick.
I think they're right. Cups are mandatory but if a guy gets hit believe me he goes down with a bang.
I've even seen guys pass out.
Asker+1 ynahhhh i don't believe that... if i was wearing a cup i wouldn't go down...
Asker+1 ysorry that comment was for the other post wooppssss
Asker+1 y@crazyincalifornia i doubt you could just stand and watch... he would keep fighting and try to hurt you... and i doubt you could stop a 300lb man in his tracks... but thats just my opinion, i don't really know
- +1 y
I definitely could with a rising snap kick. It is disabling to guys. They lie motionless. LOL!
Asker+1 ythats just a fancy name for a front upward kick isn't it?
- +1 y
With a rising snap you raise your thigh and about midway you begin a forward snap with your calf.
This allows maximum force with a slight hip rotation.
They are hard to defend against, especially if you do an advance feign to the head or chest.
The guy then loses focus and you have a full groin shot, and he is out out out!
Guys size does not matter at all.
XDD
Asker+1 yso a guys size doesn't matter? a kick in the groin will take any guy down you reckon?
- +1 y
Absolutely!
Even the huge Sumo guys will go down if hit there.
I know some guys don't think it's fair but we think it is.
XD - +1 y
I think it should only be used in self defense and not used to “get a point across” I have seen woman go down with groin strikes.. I don't know why woman find it funny when it’s very painful and can be dangerous.. especially if your practicing with someone and you aren’t in danger.. you hurt your partner to send a message? That’s mean. I’ve also seen woman winded with a breast strike.. is that funny? The groin is great for self defense but to laugh at someone who was injured there because you don’t know how it feels because you don’t have those parts it’s pretty mean. If the ma trade of having to deal with testicle assault, maybe child birth, mental cycles and tender breasts are a trade off..
- +1 y
I don’t think having genitals is a weakness... if I’m not attacking someone, I have no fear of someone purposely trying to target there :) but I do wish woman were more sympathetic to male pain... wonder why some guys don’t share how they feel and bottle up emotions and they ask why do guys do this.. lol.

Idc what people say. Nut shots are not funny at all. Regardless of the situation. The only time someone should be laughed at when getting hit in the groin is when they are trying to attack someone and you’re trying to defend yourself. Otherwise nutshots are cruel and not funny at all. Analyze the situation, all the men are saying nutshots are funny only when it happens to someone else. That’s the biggest one sided bullshit I’ve ever heard. First off all men and women don’t even know the side effects of getting kicked in the balls, kicking someone or making fun or someone who got hit in the groin is like making fun of a women for having massive period cramps. The pain may not be similar. But the symptoms are. 1, you need to realize that pain tolerance is different for everybody, man or women didn’t matter it’s all different. But the symptoms for getting kick in the balls are similar to period cramps, blood in urine, erectile disfunction, vomiting blood, fever, paralysis, even death.

I’ve had 4 bad experience my first one was getting kicked in the balls by a group of girls when I was being bullied. They bullied me 24/7 and the teachers didn’t take it as seriously because of the stigma. Eventually I stand up for myself for once and she kicks me in the balls. I was on the ground until the bell rang. I went back inside to the bathroom and I began to vomit large amounts of blood, like I mean a lot of blood. I was crying like crazy, not cause of the pain although it did hurt a lot, I was crying because of the confusion on why nobody helped me and I was crying on why everybody was laughing at me. I told my friends and they didn’t believe me. I told the girls and that really hurt and that wasn’t cool and they told me to “stop being a pussy, it’s not like you went through birth”. I go home and I tell my parents I’m not feeling good, I had a stutter for 5 days straight. I didn’t talk in the house at all because I didn’t want my parents to notice when they asked me why I wasn’t talking I told them that my throat was hurting and that’s was allowed to stay home but they didn’t no what happened to me. Because was traumatized and lonely inside.

2nd expirence. I was at a party, there was this girl I really liked there, I was talking to her after a bit and all that and it was fun and everything. Eventually my drunk friend comes in and slaps my nuts really hard. I dropped to the ground and everybody was laughing at me again. Well not everybody some were in shock and some were just laughing but most of them were laughing. I was on the ground for awhile and then I went to the bathroom because I had to vomit. I was crying in the bathroom for a long time because the first memory popped up in my head again. It just kept on repeating itself over and over and over again. The pain I was going though mentally and physically was killing me that nobody would be there for me.

The 3rd time was when I was at the beach and these group of people playing soccer. It was a mix of guys and girls. I got in the balls when they were playing soccer and it wasn’t as bad as the first of second one. But still very painful. People did the same thing and they just laughed at me, I wanted to vomit so bad and eventually I did in front of everybody and nobody still came to help me, only this one old couple came by and asked if I was ok but then they moved on with there day. Now I realized that everytime I get hit in the balls, I begin to vomit, because the first time it happened is the reason why it’s so easy for me to get these side effects.
- +1 y
Because the first time it happens it when it actaully cause damaged. That’s why I don’t think nutshots are funny doesn’t matter if it’s an accident or on purpose. It’s not funny at all because there is nothing funny about someone having terrible side effects like these. But I know how people are thinking, people would be like well if it happens to someone else it’s funny, only if it happens to you it’s not funny. But that’s the stigmas problem. If we think like that then that means it’s always funny. If everybody has a mindset thinking that’s it funny when it happens to some else, than that means it’s gonna be funny to people if it happens to you. Keeping this mindset is the problem. A boy once got shot in the dick with a pain ball gun and everybody in school made fun of him eventually he killed himself because of it. A father of 3 was hit in the balls by a football and was on the grown for hours, people didn’t do anything but laugh but then they relized that he wasn’t moving, they eventually found out that he died. So that’s my point, if you keep a mindset like this, the next time it happens you’re gonna laugh but instead of call 911 to make sure the person was ok, you were busy laughing and it was to late by then because they’re dead and that person family will forever be in pain because of finding shit like this funny. Everyday those moments that happened to me will always stick with me and will forever put me in mental pain. So no nutshots are not funny at all!!!

The 4th one was in mma class and this girl kicks me in the balls and had a cup on. I screamed and I dropped to the grownd. Everybody was sitting down watching, the guys were laughing and the girls were cheering her on. They all began to start clapping. My gag reflex came in and I began to vomit In the bathroom, one person came in to check up on me and said “you’re gonna get use to it”. I wanna kill myself at this point because nobody understands me and they all think it’s funny, so do you. This is very serious subject you treat it like a joke. Also groin kicks should only be used in self defense in real life, not in traning. Because when you’re traning and you kick someone in the groin, they have a chance of dieing. But doing that to Somone who is actaully attacking you is different you have every right to do that. But not in traning cause it can cause those side effects. And also getting kicked in the vagina hurts just as much. I can’t believe you’re a girl and you don’t know this. however in more extreme cases a large hematoma may form when injured, due to the vascularity of the vulva. A sufficiently powerful blow to the groin could potentially fracture the pubic bone, resulting in further physical disability.

Ouch!!! I knew girls if lucky can kick a guy and drop him and also as I know very well how a teenage girl can defeat a grown man but I would definitely be surprised see a 300lb man getting his balls kicked by a 100lb girl and seeing curled up at your feet. You definitely sound like you have taught a lot of guys how weak their ball's really are.
+1 yOh course we laugh. People are taught very young that genitals are funny. Honestly, I personally wouldn't laugh. It's the reaction they are laughing at. I'd feel bad.

Asker+1 ybut the reaction is a really bad one?

People think pain is funny for some reason, I personally don't but comedy has many forms.
Asker+1 yyeah damn comedy
+1 yi feel for you man there is no worse pain then the nutshot it puts you straight out of commission i mean full on game over if you get hit there anyway i guess girls laugh cause they like seeing us roll around in pain but for many guys we have a sense of empathetic pain when we see a guy get hit in the nuts we can almost feel there pain

+1 yI cringe often, and tense up when it happens. Bad memories I guess lol. But either people are dicks laughing at other peoples misery. but I will laugh if someone crushes them out of pure stupidity and is in pain.

You must be new because I'm not. I just don't think physically hurting people is nearly as fun as emotionally hurting them.

Interesting! From an emotional standpoint, Guys are really fearful of girls taking them down by their balls.
To them it's like a temporary castration from a girl no less, their deepest fear for sure. :)
Asker+1 yyou just hit the nail on the head ay... it is like a form of castration and iv always been nervous a girl will kick me in the nuts one day
Sometime it looks funny, a lot of stuff looks funny especially when empathy is lacking.
