Why is it so impossible to match with Tinder girls?

Then forget about talking to the 2 matches you ever do get! They reply then you say something in return and then just stop talking to you completely, just to leave you on the back burner in their bank of matches for all eternity.

I'm a decent looking guy as well, I wouldn't necessarily say male model decent, however I like the way I look and always seem to have attention from girls when I go out. However Tinder has been pretty shit for me. One thing I will say though, is even if you're a good looking guy, that's not enough on Tinder. You've got to have exciting photos and I know for a fact that mine aren't. Mine are mostly boring selfies and I do think that's setting me back. The guys that are really killing it on Tinder have high quality photos of them travelling, doing exciting things, pictures with animals etc. You've got to show off a life that will make a girl excited to connect with you. I'm going to take a break from Tinder and this is the main thing I'm going to address when I go back for round 2, and I expect far more success.

Another thing I've noticed is the city you live in, mine's shit. Most of the girl's are conceited and arrogant. I could be an astronaut and they'd still think they were above me. And most of the guys on Tinder are desperate AF. Not a good combination, girls are flooded with desperate guys being all nice to them and giving them validation, they ignore the fact that these guys are only being nice to them because they want to fuck them and they think it must be because they're super models or something... Therefore meaning it doesn't matter what I say, I will always get girls who will be up themselves and feel like they can contribute nothing to the conversation or flat out ignore me. This is contrast to some other cities where I got about a 60% match rate which is much better than what I get in my city and they were far more talkative as well.

Those are the two things I'd consider. Tinder is pretty shit for the most part, most girls on it are doing it for a confidence boost or because their life is so shit that they have nothing better to do. You really have to not get too caught up on it, focus on life, go on Tinder every now and then see what's up, but just treat is as a joke until you find someone worth your time.

Some people just like entertaining the idea of Tinder. Some girls just like the attention and get bored/lazy. Or it could just be the conversation/chemistry and I think thats why some girls like the corny pickup lines just because its different even if stupid. Everyone on there has different intentions and I think many don't even know what they're looking for. Hard to say.

Tinder for guys and girls is a completely different game.

Generally a guy will swipe right on the majority, and match with a minority. Girls are the opposite. When I'm on there I swipe right on maybe 1 in 10, and match with at least 70-80% and I don't even think I'm nearly as pretty as most girls on the app.

After matching though, you then you have to stand out in some way to engage in a conversation beyond small talk. Maybe you're approaching the people you talk to too generically? Try commenting on something you have in common, or something in their bio or one of their photos. I'm generally willing to talk to anyone that messages me, but if there isn't anything interesting to talk about the conversation dies pretty fast.

But if you don't know anything about them. I don't know it's a pretty ridiculous expectation. It's hard to come out with something great to say. Plus most conversations in the real world tend to begin with "hi, how are you?" or "what's up?" Etc.

That gets you ignored on Tinder, it's like you have to come out immediately being weird, but you "can't be weird" at the same time. You know what? Girls are weird! lol

I've lost count of the number of 'what do you do where are you from' conversations, i think it comes across as not trying very hard...

What are you looking for on tinder, btw? The way you approach girls could be quite varied depending on that...

Just a cool girl (s) to date and or befriend. I'm relatively new to my town so I want to make friends and build my entourage. 😂

But honestly I really just want to find a girl I can just hit it off with and find a serious relationship. I'm not a polygamist type. I work full time, have a pretty cool job, I just want someone that fits well into my life.

Unfortunately the majority of people on tinder these days aren't looking for anything serious, so if you're approaching girls with that mindset you might seem intimidating?

Also if you're having difficulty getting matches it could be the photos you've chosen... maybe try switching those up?
