Ladies which is worse, a guy (you are dating NOT an official BF) who calls and texts you almost everyday or a guy who isn't needy?

I need to know what most women would rather prefer. A guy who texts and calls you all the time which can come off as needy or a guy who doesn't call or text often but keeps the mystery around him?

Basically I'm dating a girl now and I haven't called or texted her in maybe 3 days. After we met and exchabged numbers we have only texted each other twice, she initiated first then I texted her again the next day.

But now it's been like 3 days and neither of us has texted or called each other. Not even a "Hey how ya doin" nothing. Is this a good or bad sign? She hasn't texted me so why should I text her? Could she be waiting for me to do it? Could she have already or is starting to lose interest in me? I don't want to that needy guy who texts a girl everyday and fall into a boring routine.

I'm introverted as hell so not contacting me every day doesn't bother me. Sometimes we just don't have anything to talk about and small talking is boring. In my case there are times when my partner and I have sort of just silently agreed that we don't care if nobody says hi for a day or a few days in a row. If I'm feeling lonely or vice versa we'll contact each other, but it's not forced or anything. I haven't seen my partner today for example, think he's logged off for the evening and we usually talk on skype/discord when we speak.

So neediness is worse for me. I get a little worn down when someone always wants my attention. I have a hard time focusing on stuff I want to do when someone is speaking to me and I find it very draining. People should be able to look after themselves and not speaking isn't always a reflection of someone's wavering romantic interest.

There is a balance because neither of those are guys who I would be attracted to. I dated a guy long distance and he could go w/out texting me for a whole day. Recently I broke up w/a guy who did too much, but that's because he became super controlling. The guy I'm dating now, we text everyday (not all day) and talk on the phone pretty often.

so you're saying there should be a balance? However is DAILY well balanced? I feel like if I text or call her every single day I could annoy her, or we could fall into that boring routine of asking the same questions over and over or talking without having anything to actually say.

Again this girl hasn't called or texted me either in the sa! e period of time. That could mean multiple things. She's lost intrest, was just really busy, or she is waiting on me to initiate.

Daily can be well balanced as long as both partners are engaged and you don't demand 24/7 attention. She may have lost interest because if I like a guy and he likes me back, I don't mind small exchanges during the day and phone calls.

You should normally do the chasing not her !! Maybe you haven't shown your actual feelings for her so this is why she's not texting you

That actually could be part of it. She did initially text me first after we exchanged numbers but I can be pretty bad at simply saying "I like you". I'm not asking not do I want her to do the chasing. I just thought that since she was the one who initiated first, she would be comfortable enough to text or call me whenever.

Yeahhhh but there's a limit for everything !! It should be a balanced thing... it's a mans nature to do the chasing... but then again if you always have to do the chasing then leave because that shows she's not interested

Texting daily is great. Not texting as much is kinda hurting me. If a guy is needy it means he cares and enjoys my presence. It doesn't have to be 24/7 as long it's just daily.

Oh I meant that the guy that texts me a lot. If he's not needy than he can go probably days or weeks without texting me.
