Biracial or not, you're a single mother. Because of that you'll already have a hard time dating. Plus, it's you're own fault all this is happening to you. I don't feel sorry for you. Not even a little bit.

Truthfully, the primary contributors to a child's genetic makeup are still that child's parents.
But the research on a woman's connection to a child in her womb is very interesting. It could explain a few things.

What is the point of this debate? Racial purity isn't important. Let natural attraction do the work. Its our cultural values that need protection not our skin color.
@sawno It shouldn't have been important. This debate should have been over decades ago. But it isn't. So, we need to ask ourselves why.
I think, we have missed something. We have missed what racists are trying to say to us. The problem is that racists are not mature enough to have an honest conversation. So the rest of us have to try to figure out what is happening on our own.
By the way, I have a few friends in the Netherlands. One my best traveling experiences happened there.
I already figured that one out. The only solution is to stop differentiating based on assumed groups and start treating people like individuals. Now the media is reporting so much on this issue it makes people feel like they should stand up for there group or protect those in need. This is counterproductive since as long as you are threating people based on there labels it will devide them into competitive grouos by nature. So the only solution is to get a strong personal identity, be proud of that and judge individuals on there own.
Well, we all know what should be done. The point I am making is that it has not been done. We have preached this individuality identity thing for decades. I think one of the things that social scientists have pointed out is that human beings are social creatures. I mean look around you. We are at GaG, it is so important for young adults to come together and find acceptance among peer groups. It is the way we are wired.
And I think just trying to claim everyone should be an individual misses an important point that racists may be legitimately trying to make.
If you listen to them, there is a lot of fear. Fear of being marginalized, fear of losing their identity, fear of losing power, it goes on and on.
People currently find there identity trough others, they submit to group validation and are violent to anyone who endangers that validation. Loss of power is something i can't easily find a solution for since i dont crave having power.
Yeah, I understand. I just think we need to create this conversation and get these things out into the open. It is just difficult. . . very, very, very difficult.

I am a bit older than most of the replies here (41) and came here when my stepdaughter found herself in a similar situation. You need to understand that guys are put off by single mothers at your age. They are still building their own lives, seeking advancement in their career fields, trying to put something into their future. You come with a lot of baggage. But here's the good news. With out a man to distract you, you can focus on raising your child to be better that his/her father, and better than you. That's what parenting is really about. Giving your child a boost so that they have a better life. Stop looking for a savior and start looking for a way to teach your child, a way to give your child a wide spectrum of experiences, and something magical will happen... along the way you will find a PARTNER in this endeavor. Not a man to take care of you, but one who will be more than happy to help. Good luck honey.
