Guys, What do you think of women with strong personalities?

I've always been attracted to partners with strong personalities, and thus I've always considered myself to be the more "flexible" partner. Recently, I talked to a friend who mentioned that I have a very strong personality. I have known that I can be stubborn and that i have a tendency to be blunt, but I never considered my personality to be "strong."

I would describe myself as enthusiastic and curious. I typically avoid leadership positions, but I know how to lead if I want to. I don't shy away from confrontation, although, I prefer discussions over "debates." I wouldn't consider myself to be passive aggressive, and I've been told I'm a nonjudgmental listener, who also gives good advice.

What do you think of women with strong personalities when dating/ in relationships? Should she be with an equally "strong" partner, or someone who is more willing to "put up" with her stronger flaws?

I think 2 people with "strong" personalities who spend a lot of time together, as people in relationships do, are ultimately going to clash.

Someone who's more reserved or introverted isn't intrinsically weaker than someone who's the opposite. Using the word "strong" in this context has lots of negative insinuations.

An extrovert and an introvert make a great couple, but only if they see the different strengths of both of their personalities.

I tend to avoid people with the stubborn and blunt characteristics. They aren't considered strong to me either. I think you're just attracted to someone who has the energy to fight it out on your level. You're attracted to those types of men too (probably subconsciously) because they pose a challenge. So yes, I think you should find someone with the same characteristics as you.

Seems to me like you have a more honest and straightforward personality not so much strong.

And I think that women with strong personalities should be with whoever compliments them as individuals.

Women with strong personalities are more attractive for me. I feel that their relatives and friends won't be able to make her deciding about our relationship.

I would have no issue with a woman like you, because your strong personality comes naturally. If you were trying to have a strong personality for the sake of it... that would be a turn off.
