Should I ask him to study together?

we have like two weeks between the last class and out final exam my crush is nice sometimes and sometimes cold but I can say we are good classmates or starting a good friendship. should i ask him to study and propose to do a study group if he wants. I think he doesn't like groups so thats why i want to propose the study group only if he wants if not we can just go both of us but im scared to ask this question and i don't know how to say it.

All you have to say is "wanna do a study group?" That's it really. Either he says yes or he says no. It's not like you're asking him out, you're asking to study together. If he likes you, he is more likely to say yes, but a yes or no answer here doesn't mean yes or no liking you. Some people just don't like study groups.

what if i ask do you wanna study together if you want we can do a study group. im giving him 2 options here. just the two of us or a larger group.

How about "do you want to study together". If he asks if others will be there, say you haven't invited any, but that he can if he wants. If you won't otherwise be running into him once the class is done, you kind of need to get to the point. More 1 on 1 time the better.
