Should I get drunk on prom night?

So my prom is on June first and I'm going with my coworker. I want to sleep with her but she wants to drink a little before and after. I'm ok with her drinking but should I get drunk with her?
I've never gotten drunk before so I'm scared about how I'll act. I don't want to do anything stupid or say something to hurt her.
I'm not a drinker and I rarely smoke weed, maybe once every six months, so I wouldn't know if prom is the appropriate time. I plan on getting us a hotel room, because our prom is at a hotel, so I don't know if we should get drunk there. I also have to talk to her as to whether or not she wants to get a room because I'm not sure if we should plan that out before or if I should ask her while we're at prom

No. That's terrible, especially if you're a little afraid to. Takes a big man to say you're not comfortable with something. Don't make a move on a drunk girl either. That can get you in serious trouble. You should be yourself and enjoy the prom the way you want to. If she ends up not wanting to do it the way you want to, then let her have her fun and you go see whose sober and chill with them. This will lead to some stories afterwards. You might get some "oh what a wimp. He didn't want to get drunk and then he ditched his date". But you know what, some nice girl who is even more compatible with you will hear this story and then you have a true champion of a girl on your hands.
If this advice doesn't get through to your head, then here's advice for if you act stupid. You have to talk to her about a room and the when's and all the other specifics. I strongly suggest not getting drunk though. If you want to look like you're fitting in, make a mixed drink and just pour a bunch of different soda, juice and seltzer and ice. By the time you throw it together, no one will realize you skipped the booze.
I'm strongly suggesting you don't drink and you don't bang this girl on prom night. I think you'll be wasting your time and it won't be what you'd hope it would be. Booze and banging broads isn't all its worked up to be. You look at every guy you know whose in debt, has children he doesn't see all the time and can't hold down the job, what are the two causes? Being with the wrong woman and drinking too much booze. This might be just one night, but this might also be the first night that starts it all.

1st Ask her about the hotel room in advance because she may not want to or she might make other plans.

2nd you don't have to drink because she is but if you do drink keep it to minimum so you don't do something embarrassing or throw up on her or something.

Sounds like a lot of bad ideas. Hotel room, alcohol, girl you like. All I will say is, don't do something you will regret later. Think of what could happen, and don't do it just because you can.
