Is it normal that old couples ( parents) play fight and wrestle?

My mom is in her late forties. She has always been a fun loving active person but since she divorced my dad almost 10 years ago I never imagined what it would be like for her to get serious with anyone.
She has dated but its always been dinner and movie etc and the bloke was super boring. But this new guy she is dating is 45 years old, athletic and seems like so much fun. My mom laughs and smiles all the time. Then one day I came home for a visit and they were having a pillow fight and wrestling like teenagers. I guess I am a bit in weirded out because it seems like something teenagers and young folks do. So my question do your parents play fight, wrestle and play jokes on each other? Is it normal, is it immature?

I think there is a certain amount of exhilaration that is coming out because they have found sort of a second chance at love sort of thing. It is common to get a little wild and free when that happens. It's kind of like a mid life crisis type thing that causes people to take a last grasp at youth and try something new. Same with new relationships after past hurt. You just feel alive and young.

WE are close to that age and we play like cats... My parents did that until they died.

Is there a rule or something, that only teenagers can do that? people of any age can wrestle and do pillow fights, its nothing strange or weird

I've never seen older folks pillow fighting and tickling each other. Its new to me.

I have always wrestle my wife, it’s a lot of fun. We are both fit and health. I love the competitiveness side of her. And she hates too loose.
