Can't find any guy friends. Why do most guys only want relationships?

I'm trying to make friends with guys. Everytime I talk to them, they always want something more. Especially when I download these penpal apps. The guys in there start asking for pics, getting all flirty even when I said I was only looking for friendship. Their flirting is a type of, "Let's cuddle," etc.

Why are some guys like this? Even if it's face to face, no guy wants to be my friend but always something more. Or is it because I'm lame and I don't know how to talk to men?

Your not lame and don't ever say that to your self, just try to be yourself and if your gonna blame yourself for being lame, then don't, cause like you've mentioned, that you wanted to have guy friends, if you wanted to have some guy friends, try other internet sites like Quotev etc., some guys want to have girls as only friends cause they wanted perhaps some advice regarding girls or that they just wanted to have a friend that is girls, while some of the guys (specifically this generations) wanted girls to be more than just friends, if they wanted that, then just ignore them.
Just don't forget that your an awesome person and that just be yourself. You're a really cool person :)

I have a guy friend and we have been best friends since birth , he doesn't want to date me, at least I can tell unless he is good at hiding his feelings

Our desire is stronger than many women would imagine. If our desires are already fulfilled, we do have the liberty to share friendship with women. But if we are single and have few romantic options, desire will almost necessarily take over from friendship.
If you want friendship with a guy, you should find a guy who is a Don Juan or who is gay (because gays have plenty of opportunities and won't desire a relationship from you). Or someone who is in a relationship but then you take the risk that your friendship may be challenged if this guy's relationship breaks up.

No you're just fine, but it does have to do with the guy. I work in a office with 4 other women under 21 and we get along just fine. we talk, joke, laugh just a like anybody else. but I see them as just friends to talk to.

Even online there are a few girls who I regularly talk with but don't seek a relationship, just casual chit-chat about their day.

Part of it is the age.
The other factor would be the guys you approach... or approach you.
What the meme says is accurate.
You can be friends with girls... you don't need a guy for a friend.
