With a vape, you can choose to not have nicotine in it so yes there is a difference. Plus vapes can grant you access to a lot of different flavors! I haven’t tried them but they smell so good when my friends vape
@Ellie-V is correct. While you can get tobacco based juices, you can also get juices without tobacco. You can also get juices with varying amounts of nicotine. From 0mg to 48mg per ml.
I vape and so does the guy I’m seeing. We both switched to quit smoking. We quit a month ago this Friday. Neither uses tobacco based juice, and we’ve worked ourselves down to 3mg of nicotine and eventually will get to 0mg and off the vape too

Oh young 17 year old, you have much to learn. 3mg in 1ml and the only chemical comparable to cigarettes that were taking in is nicotine. And we’re almost off even that lol. We aren’t inhaling all the other chemicals.
And given I smoked more than 30 cigarettes a day and each one had 12mg of nicotine, I’ll take the 3mg of nicotine a day I’m taking in.

Nicotine is not the only problem with smoking dear old 32 year old. You already stated that with the liquid you're using you're consuming less nicotine than if you were smoking cigarettes, how can you not habe enough common sense to see that there is no need to do any "research" on something that you alreads clarified?

Smoking and vaping are different because with vaping, there is a choice. And a lot of vapers either try to quit the nicotine or they just inhale the sweet juices.

Vapes help smokers stop smoking 👀 it’s a process but it usually works.
And when they quit completely, they may still choose to vape because of the simple fact that they taste and smell good.
Vapes themselves are not addictive.
A vape, even with just nicotine, helps eliminate the other chemicals being inhaled into the lungs that cause cancer and do other damage.
Personally, I’m 100% tobacco free for a month as of yesterday. I’m down to vaping 6mg of nicotine with a 2ml tank (12mg total per tank) and only need two or three puffs every few hours as opposed to 12mg in each cigarette that I was smoking. And I smoked a pack and a half a day. I took in over 420mg of nicotine a day, plus tobacco plus the other chemicals. With my vape, I take in a maximum of 12mg of nicotine a day and that’s IF I vape a whole tank a day. Which I’ve only one once. Once my 6mg juice is gone, I’ll move down to 3mg juice and eventually to 0mg juice and of fall it completely. That’s how it helps people quit smoking. 420mg a day to 12mg maximum in a month and I don’t even care to pick up a cigarette, it’s definitely helped.
This is ridiculous, the only thing explained was that they help serving as a replacement for cigarettes, now you said they serve different purposes, but if they did how the hell would they help quitting smoking cigarettes.
Vapes helped my mom quit smoking. And it was a 6 month process for her.
Other people have quit cigarettes because of vaping.
Overtime, they can reduce the amount of nicotine and tobacco to the point where they can handle themselves without it completely. It’s like a weaning process

It is a big turn off for me. Eventhough i may be truly in love with the person, i wouldn't feel very comfortable kissing them.

That's a completely different statement than "it still smells bad."
You must have a very critical nose if you dislike the smell of bananas, cinnamon twists, strawberries, green tea, cheesecake, pumpkin, pizza, bacon, pecans, clove, peppermint, hazelnut, hibiscus, jasmine, lavender, roses, etc, etc. I would recommend against wearing perfume, then.

@Mexicoman101 fuckin because if you do your own research, you'll see that the real danger of smoking isn't to the lungs, it's to the heart, and vaping does nothing to resolve that. I hate vapes...
The smell of vape clouds is a billion times more obnoxious and they leave an awful syrup-y resin all over the windows and interior of the house. Everybody thinks it's totally fine to hit their douche flute indoors, and the vapor is heavier and thicker than cig smoke, so it persists a lot longer. Also, with cigarettes, no one is deluding themselves into thinking that they're making a smart decision for their health, so cig smokers aren't usually smoking all day (while vapers usually do, which translates to more nicotine consumed, which is the the most dangerous bit of smoking). Also, the cost of the vape gear and juice is high enough that you'd need to smoke a a lot of cigarettes before you see any savings at all.
@Mexicoman101 This next part is critically important to me: you can't carry around or use a vape discretely. At least with a pack of smokes it isn't a very large, bulky thing to carry around.

Lol the real danger is to the heart. Well, I didn't say smoking doesn't injure either body part but there's no indication to say that vaping is just as bad. The American cancer society even endorsed it as a means of quitting, they dropped their unequivocal anti-vape position.
I don't see vapor sticking to walls needing to be washed off, I don't see indication that second hand vape can kill, and frankly I disagree that the flavors are all as bad as tobacco in scent. There's a diversity to the flavors and you can even get tobacco flavored juice, which would just be a less stainy to the teeth and walls variation that is significantly more bearable.
The costs don't even hold a candle to the cost of smoking. Where I live a pack of American spirits costs over 10 bucks, I would have to buy ten packs for the cost to get one decent vape mod, which people could do in the span of a week and a half.
Also, the size fits into the change pocket of most pairs of genes, at least with mine. They are not that different in size, I don't see it is as that bulky.
@Mexicoman101 Well we can agree to disagree about vaping, but interestingly, second hand smoke isn't exactly killing people either. Stress is what kills people. Stress, and the horrifying shit that gets into our food is what's killing us. Wanna live a long life? Eat a mostly, if not entirely, plant based diet, drink a couple glasses of Red Wine per week, drink lots of clear water, and manage your stress.
That'll do more than your vape ever could.
You're forgetting the fact that your cost savings need to include the cost of the entire vape set up, mods, batteries, coils, all that. Your savings is the difference in cost between a thing of juice, and the equivalent number of cigarettes. Your "savings" aren't gonna be that big unless you're smoking a pack or more per day, and that assumes that nothing major goes wrong with the equipment. At a pack a day, your vape isn't paying for itself for a good while.
Well I've always heard second hand smoke is carcinogenic. As to the costs, cigarettes come with their own extra expenses. There's rolling papers, rolling machines, the cost of many lighters or zippo fluid for a fill up like I used, brands costs are different, you gotta clean up smoke from walls if you do it inside, ash trays, etc, not even to mention the public cost involved with cleaning up cigarette butts.
I buy 25 dollars worth of juice and it lasts me like four weeks, I used to spend 20 bucks a week on packs of smokes. My first vape came with its own battery. You can even theoretically make your own vape juice.
