Is 5'6 a good height for a woman?

Im 5'6 and people have made me feel like being tall is a bad thing.

Yes that's a good height. My doc took my height a few weeks ago I'm 5'6 and a half- I grew almost 2 inches since the last time I measured my height several years ago.
I TOWER over damn near everyone where I live.
Some of the men in my area make comments about how TALL I am, I say nope I'm not that tall you're just that short dude which pisses them off big time.
Own yourself and don't let idiots make you feel awkward - if you're feeling that way. I stopped feeling awkward and giant whenever I go out and about in my lovely town and enjoy towering over these inbred rednecks!

I live in the south in the U. S where everyone is related to one another yet no uh uh they're not inbred so they're really short and act as if any woman who stands over 5'2" is extremely tall. Go figure. They kill me with that

I live in California. And in my area there are a lot of latinos and they tend to be pretty short.

If a woman is just a little taller than average but somewhat fit - she will look very tall. I always remembered one of my friends as being very tall - than I realized she was only 5"6 - it was just because she was very skinny - I remembered in my head that she was at least 5"11 and it wasn't just me - everybody thought she was very tall and remembered her as being very tall because she was so skinny and confident and classy.

Maybe because they're short. 5'6" to me is extremely average for a woman. It's not a height that stands out at all.

But then again, if you live in an area where everyone is 5', then yes, you would be a giantess among men.

Actually the average female height in most countries is 5'5, so 5'6 is slightly above average

There is no bad height for a woman. There will always be varying preferences among guys but I've never heard of anyone having a problem with that height.
