+1 yYes, I dated what I think counts as a professional athlete before. She was an aerial performer at the circus. While I was into fitness and sports, I was never a professional and never had that kind of level of elite discipline and training mindset she had. It was also fun hanging out and trying to train together a bit, but she was so far beyond me. I'd be struggling to do a plain old handstand and she'd be doing one-arm handstands effortlessly.

+1 yI like the “wear my sweater” girls who are petite and have sweet little girly voices not viking women who can open a champagne bottle with her glutes. Besides we have machines that work for us now. Cave man/women muscles are so last epoch. Im prepared for the hatred of gym rats.

+1 yI could date a less athletic man. As long as they weren’t a total couch potatoe! I like to go outside! Even if it’s the yard relaxing by the pool, chilling at the lake or beach, we don’t have to be excersizing but not on the couch all the time! I do prefer bigger, thicker men though. Skinny or ripped is not my thing!

+1 yCould I date a guy less athletic than I am?
I mean I workout 5-6 days a week, so ideally I'd prefer a guy that is at least somewhat physically in shape. If I can pick you up and bench press you, we got problems, lol11 Reply
Asker+1 yThat’s true.

+1 yIn theory yes, but in principle I find that unlikely. I would only date a guy who works hard/diligently at his job and also has interests outside of work. Typically either the work or at least one of the interests will involve something physical. A guy who is a couch potato and only plays video games is a no-go for me.

+1 yI'd at least try to catch up, but sure. It's a great workout motivator.
(Tried working out for a year, but went too hard. Ended up with literal torn muscles. I don't know when to stop when working out. No pain no gain, but when is it ok to stop?) :)00 ReplyYes, absolutely. I don't think there are many men who are less athletic than me tho😂

+1 yYes I could, but I'd prefer him to be just as athletic or more. I like it when someone can push me to be better and when they enjoy doing fun things.

Asker+1 yMine friend her ex couldn’t handle it she beat him at everything.

then that is up to him to bust his ass off and catch up to her. He can't handle it? then either he works out more OR she actually helps him workout.
Again i don't see a problem.
I don't like the idea of dating an girl who is more athletic than me.

00 ReplyAn easy no! I don’t date athletic women. Anyone who goes to a gym won’t be part of my love life. I don’t mind them being into watching sports however, just not active in them
