Yes they do it’s tricky but my cousin best friend a couple years ago tagged along one night. I couldn’t stand him. He kept asking me to dance and I would run the other way. He would tell me how nice I was and pretty I looked and I would ignore him. But I realized he was really nice when I went in a taxi with a friend and I was scared too my life he rode too until it dropped me off at my house and then he said I just want to make sure you’re fine. He told the taxi driver that if he did something he would kill him lol. At the time I laughed but he was serious. The next day we went to have lunch with my cousin his friend, and his best friend and he asked me infront or everyone at the table “hey I would like to take you to dinner.” My cousin almost killed him with a look. I said yes and I was really into him but that date never happened. In short my cousin told him I’d never had a Boyfriend, that I was a virgin and not to mess with me. That guy I believe owned a strip club but was very nice and handsome. I still think of that what if.. it was such a cliche lol

Absolutely. I’m involved in one now (I think lol). Poor past experiences and healing is the reason for the slow burn but even though I was clueless as to the advantage of it in the beginning, I’m pretty much totally in support of it. It’s just nothing I’ve ever experienced before and at times had difficulties understanding it.

Its a real thing lol. Its just rare two people who start off disliking each other end up liking each other lol. It generally takes getting to know the person you dislike at first and then your opinions about them tend to shift to putting them in a positive light. Then you start developing feelings and attraction for them. Its only happened once to me and goddamn was that a wild relationship lmao

There has to be a significant amount of development both for the individuals and for the pair throughout the novel, with romantic tension that builds and builds.

Now. Such certainly exists. The guy I'm currently interested in. There's been mutual interest for about a year. Been well aware of the other's presence. Been learning of each other. And despite how there was nothing overly obvious like blatant flirting or teasing you could 'cut the tension with a knife' as the saying goes between us on many days. If you were to compare it to anything it's a sort of dance.

Yeah I think it is. Especially in fanfics like Resident Evil. I have read many of them. But it does exist even in real life. I got a slow burning romance with a girl many years ago but in the end I remained just a burned to the ashes soul.
