Would you like to go to the beach with your partner?

Question

We went to the beach today - lakeside, but still a beach - and spent most of the day there.
She took a bath and sunbathing while I mostly sat under a tree reading and sleeping.
There weren't many people because it's one of the less beautiful beaches, but it was better this way.
Still it was a good day and I feel a bit better.
What about you?

But yes, a beach date sounds like fun: you can pack a picnic lunch, go swimming together, walk together and watch the sunset/sunrise. Or just enjoy the scenery.

It sounds like you had fun; I'm jealous. I don't have any beaches where I live, and most of the beaches in the States are being shut down due to the epidemic going on at the moment, so no beach vacation for me this year.

I would. I love sunshine and the beach is a great place to soak it up. We could bring a blanket, some cold drinks, and play some country music over a little speaker, or just listen to the waves crashing. A nice way to spend the day and could be romantic if we want it to be.

The beach can be a dangerous place for a couple going together. There can be a lot of "Oh YEEAAH! BEAUTIFUL GIRLS" in bikinis 👙 and there could be a lot of guys that are more handsome than me even with their shirts off and just wearing swimming trunks. If my partner wore a bikini, I'll probably just stare at her the whole time.

It really depends on if she is ok with being splashed and playing around. If I go to the beach with a partner I want her to be able to play around. Otherwise it is awkward when we are supposed to be together yet I'm the only one in the water. Not sure why that irks me lol

Beaches are great but I feel like there are other options for walks other people forget about, like large public parks. hills or tall areas are great if you live in a big city to get a nice view from especially in the evening. Walking to a nice looking windmill is great.

Those are just some of my favorites but it all comes down to personal preference and what you find pretty and relaxing
