Met a guy online a week ago. First date at his place because of covid, is this safe?

I’m 26, he’s 30. We matched on hinge last Friday and just really hit it off unlike anyone I’ve met online ever. We’ve sent paragraphs back and forth. He asked me out for this Friday evening. Where I’m at, most places are in lockdown by the time we’d meet (7pm) or personally I don’t want to eat at a restaurant or go in a place because of covid. It’s also winter so being outside is too cold.

We both agreed to just hang out at his place. We became friends on Facebook and I can see all his photos and information and he looks very harmless. He has loads of photos with friends and family, traveling, and he seems like such a great guy. I wouldn’t normally risk this but I honestly never felt such a strong feeling for anyone I met even in person. I’ve searched him on LinkedIn and all his jobs and schooling match with what he said too. He seems really well educated and overall solid.

he lives about 40 minutes away by himself in a 4plex
Is this alright?
