Did guys give up on dating?

So I’ve never had a boyfriend, never even been asked out on a serious date, never had a detailed conversation with a guy and never even kissed anyone. In my defense i only went to freshman year of high school before I was in the hospital the next few years. I never went back to HS but even now in community college nobody has even the slightest interest in me. I’m not ugly, I’m not self centered and going to say that I’m extremely attractive but I’d give myself a 6 or more? I have shared interest with boys, I like to watch sports, play sports, fish, I love action movies, dislike romcoms, but I’m not a tomboy either. I do makeup and wear heels and my hair is said to be my best feature. I’m quiet in public and I’m never the center of attention. I can hold a conversation with anyone and I think that I’m fun to be around. So why hasn’t anyone hit on me or asked for my number, or to talk, or be friends, or even my name? Chivalry must’ve really gotten taken over my anxiety or something. The answer can’t be that I’m repulsive. What’s up with men right now?

That depends on the person.

In my case, I have. My financial- & career-goals are still in progress. Likewise, I'd prefer to collect data/intel on the potential target before planning a strike. (What's the point of attempting and already emotionally-attaching to a candidate when yet-to-be-collected info will prove the potential-relationship's feasibility, stability, and/or future to be too questionable in the 1st place?) So far, I've still yet to find anyone reasonably-feasible. So, why bother?

Ohh finally found a person like me. I think being single till now is itself an achievement don't you think so because the everyone who get engaged most of my friends regret so it's better to focus on career don't waste your time, money, energy and especially feelings on someone who's temporary in your life. Many people will feel I am joking or there's some problem with me yes may be in my mind because I more choosy 😅 so just relaxed we have noone to give clarification that whom we are talking too🤣 like those who are in relationship and doubt eachother it's my experience when my friends had break up we sit together and they say... You already know that. Don't allow anyone to get a place in your heart secure it for right person and they will secure for you. No no I am not a speaker 😂 or I never force anyone to do what I advice. i just speak whatever comes in my mind 🤣crazy me

I think it’s more of guys having no clue how to find a date. If they were anything like me, they have been taught platitudes like “be yourself” or “just don’t be an asshole” and would eventually realize it’s not that simple.

I feel like it's a lot of work for very little payout. I'm the kind of guy who wants long term commitment and intimacy... But we're in the age of relationships where you date for a couple of months for sex and then break up. There's a lot of guys constantly trying to one-up each other to impress certain girls. The women who don't have 5 guys simultaneously trying to court her are probably fat or ugly or both.
