A guy leaving a date early because he had no money to continue?

Been talking this guy just under a week. Went bowling yesterday and was supposed to go for a few more drinks afterwards. But he said he to get up early for work the next day. Date ended at 7. We had a lot of banter and been having long convos on whatsapp. The coversation was also good when we went on the date - no awkward silences.

When he said he had to leave early, I thought he was not interested. Although, he kept telling me that we will have to do another date. But when I got home, I got a text to say he was a bit embarrassed to say, but he had no money left after the second game of bowling and did not want to give off the wrong impression. I did pay for the drinks we had.

Do you think I should give him another chance? Opinions needed

Do you believe that's why he left? If so does it matter to you that he didn't have the money to continue the date? It could be that because you were paying and he didn't have money to pay he felt emasculated and not good enough. If you feel like you like him or care about him I'd say give him another chance.

Really? He goes out on a date and has not got any money? Was it a last moment thing or what? He couldn't go to an ATM or did he have no money in the bank? Or maybe he was not as much into you that you thought? Why would you go on a date with someone that had no money. I know you had no idea he didn't but would you want to go on a 2nd? Make sure you hit the bank beforehand.
